I'm an engineer for the Ohio DOT, I saw a truck load of them driving EB on I-70 going through my project. Headed into Columbus I'm assuming.

When will the 07 Silverado and Sierra be debuted?

Is there going to be an Offroad Package offered like the Current Z-71 Tahoe?

Thanks CSpec, That was of some help. However as you might have guessed i was hoping for some real worl pics. I personally feel the tahoe will look awesome in Black.

When will we see the tahoe in other color options besides the pewter treatment that was given to the deput vehicle?

I found these versions over at GMI that apparently will be on display at SEMA as well.

Oddly enough if someone were to chop the rear roof off from the "leaned B- pillar" back, I'd bet you would see a mini SSR. Anybody want to give it a shot? IMO, This is the way it should have looked from the get go. Also I say lose the Chrome old school mirrors, and put the current style molded ones on it and I'd say you have a winner.

Personally I don't care for the taller boxes, it makes it difficult to put things into the bed from the side if your short or not so short. And unless you drive with the tailgate down, there is a decrease in visbility. And one fina thought with the tall tailgate down it makes it harder to reach into the bed from the rear since you now have to stretch over a tailgate that is 2-3 inches taller. just my 2-cents

I noticed a chrome trim ring on the tip of the shifter handle as well. Sooooo, Who wants to be the first to chop one of these pics to give us a glimpse of what the new silverados are going to look like. Assuming they will be sharing front ends as in the past.
