Me and Ted were talking about this last night, and I know you guys will hate this, but this is the early and late 1970's all over again, Honda and Toyota are creating hybrids, and ULEV vehicles, and GM is creating trucks with 6.2 litre engines, and gas costs over $1/litre.

You hit the spot, this is ONE of the main reasons I dislike American cars, because of the people to design them and engineer them. They try to put the cheapest parts possible and make the most profit out of it, that's what North America is all about!

There's your example of GM's "wonderful" cost-cutting. And what's worst, they're getting worst, one day me and Ted were looking at the Torrent, it had thin plastic running boards, and the rear bumber felt like it was going to fall off.

No, like a kilometre before the exit to Simcoe Street, two days ago, I saw a brand new Astra 2 door hatch with German plates driving past me on the lights on Simcoe Street, lol, now that I commute to University of Ontario everyday to school, I see allot of GM stuff there, lol, and I'm not even a GM fan, a week ago, I saw a large sedan with all black camo, and with a dealer plate. Ted is really jealous of me, that I go to school in GM of Canada central. So I bring my camera for cases like those.

Honda, Because it is obviously better built, and in terms of reliability (the superchargers are never to be trusted, I've seen how superchargers burn out on GTP's), and of course the resale value compared to Chevy will always be higher for Hondas, so you get your money's worth.
