Won't the Cruze wagon just replace the HHR then?

Low wages, little glory: Government's Auto Task Force is hiring, looking for Wall Street experience
Given that one of the biggest issues at GM is their bondholder situation, Wall St experience is certainly necessary.

REPORT: Union chief says plans to build Chevrolet Orlando in U.S. on hold
I hope we still get this even if it's built somewhere else. It looks like a great package and a stylish replacement for the odd and dated HHR.

REPORT: Chrysler 200C heading for production
If it's based on the Challenger, it will not look like that Sebring-y concept. That car's proportions are much less hulking and ridiculous.

2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe Full Test
Same complaints we've been hearing since the Solstice launched. Crummy interior with no storage space, unrefined driving characteristics. But they did sort of fix the awful trunk space. Shame too, since it's such a pretty car.

Buick, Jaguar knock Lexus from top of J.D. Power 2009 Vehicle Dependability Study
This is good news for Buick for sure. I still think the new Lacrosse will be one of the best cars on the market when it comes out (taking price into account), so I hope they blast this news as loudly as they can to help it succeed.

Chevrolet Cruze
Seems promising. Definitely a better looker inside and out than the Corolla, but I'm not sure if it's good enough to steal sales from established imports.

CNBC Special Tonight
I just saw a commercial for a CNBC special airing tonight at 9pm. Does anyone know if this is indeed a new special, or just a rebroadcast of the one aired a few months ago? Our friend Phil LeBeau is again reporting.

Infiniti Essence Concept
Looks pretty sweet I think. The design themes work much better here than they do on the FX. The interior looks very similar to the concept Solstice I think:
