GM may consider selling the RenCen
Things are getting worse, fast.

GM to close Ohio SUV plant 2 years ahead of plan
About time GM killed these dinosaurs. The Saab version is a shame as it is actually a nice looking truck with the best interior of the 360s, but it came out a few years too late.
-
COBALT SS, King of the Subcompacts
Wow, that's amazing. Too bad the styling and interior are so old.

Kansas City Star: GM Fairfax plant expected to build redesigned Buick
Interesting quote: "“We know that the Aura will go away in about a year, so I think a third shift is the last thing on GM’s mind right now,” he said, adding that the plant is back on regular shifts instead of an overtime schedule."

Cruze Interior Photos Out!
Looks good to me. However, since it won't be here for another 2 years, I need to see what the competition will be then.

2009 VW Routan and CC at the Georgian College Autoshow
The interior on the Routan is surprisingly Chryslery (ie bad). But the exterior looks quite good. The CC is a pretty good looking car except for its masses of cutlines, but they should have given it a new model name rather than just a Passat trim.

2009 COTY and TOTY Contenders Announced
I bet it would have been the GR-R if these weren't lean times. I'm going to guess XF and X6.

You definitely want one...
Damn, Saab has a ton of potential if it got the funding. It seems that Lutz and GME recognize this.

My thoughts on a 5th gen
Didn't Lutz hate that concept and ordered it to be restyled just before its reveal?

As GM factory in Doraville closes, an era rolls away
Oh man the U-body vans are still in production?? The CSVs were one of GM's most disgraceful efforts of the 2000s.

New 2010 LaCrosse pictures
I agree with this post. I also took the liberty of emphasizing the most important part, in my opinion anyway.

Also remember that you're not just voting for the President. It's also your House rep, State rep(s), state referendums, local leaders, etc.

Official production Volt photo's
So, if you're in engine mode and you floor it, do the RPMs of the gas engine stay constant at first? That would be an odd experience to get accustomed to.

New 2010 LaCrosse pictures
I know it's a different platform and everything, but it really does have some Malibu-ness in its design and proportions. That said, it looks like it will be very refined and the interior looks great.

9-X Air Concept
Looks like a convertible of the 9-1 concept from last year. Very cool--Saab has very innovative designs.

Wall Street Welfare - Fanny, Freddy, AIG, Bank of America
The financial bailouts are a bit different, because there was a real worry that other firms to fail in a chain reaction around the world. And yes the airline bailouts basically went straight into the pockets of the executives and shareholders.

Is THIS Camaro right for our time?
I agree with what Chazman has been saying for a few years now: the Camaro is too big and too heavy. Sure it's cool, but I can't see it having much longevity after the fans buy one. It would be fine if GM thought of it as a niche product like the GTO, but no way in hell will it sell 100k units.

Exterior is a bit blah, but the interioir looks good and modern. I just hope it looks modern when you can actually buy one.

The Latest Fall Fashions
I've seen several A4s and A5s which look very sharp. Much more substantial looking than the 3er. The X6 is also very interesting; it looks better than the X5 I think.

Chevy Volt Revealed!
Looks kind of whale-like, like the ES maybe. Still looks nice and modern, though. I see a resemblance to the invicta.

C&G Drives: 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible
I agree that Saab is definitely overlooked and would surprise many people if they bothered to notice. Though I do drive a 9-5, so I'm a bit biased.

Automotive News: Pontiac future products
We've been told to expect this for a while now. GM has much more important things to worry about at the moment, and it can't afford to pour money into Pontiac to take it to its full potential. So for now it will remain another Chevy.
