  1. I was sort of expecting to be shot in the head at any moment. I've only run the road course so far. Great course...very challenging.
  2. ...also know as the Milford Road Course inside the proving grounds. Did several laps in the 2.8 turbo SRX...though...I can't tell you what I thought until the 7th. Got an hour in the CTS wagon too. I can't tell you what I thought of that until the 17th.
  3. Yes. It's Michigan Central Station in downtown.

That'd be nice if it was true, alas it is not. I talk with several members off-board. Their opinions are not assumed by me. Hence the reason I said:

I'm sorry if you don't like the way things are going lately...really, I am. But to be brutally honest...your endless doom and gloom threads around here are getting awfully old. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.

You should really stop torturing yourself.
  7. The rear has been uncovered for some time now: http://www.autoweek.com/article/20090323/CARNEWS/903239980 The V series wont be any different structurally.
  8. Haha I didnt even notice that. I took them all. BP and I sometimes give credit to our wheelman and Cory was wheelin' for me. Coming back from a car wash I see a few CTS sedan test cars coming at us from the other direction and pointed them out. Then I saw the coupes bringing up the tail end of the convoy and told him to flip-a-bitch and catch them or die.

  10. Though I did completely forget that Cory got into his first car chase when we saw a fleet of GM prototypes on Friday. You'll see the fruits on Monday.
  11. Nah...the whole industry is still in the can. He wouldn't make any money.
  12. So Cory was driving the R8 on some twisties Thursday and Im shooting video through the windshield. I hear a thunk in the front and look up from the camera just in time to see a bird bounce off the car. Got the whole thing on tape. Should make a nice youtube moment.
  13. Nah I wasn't run over.
  14. He's simply emulating the angry look of the car.
  15. Arrr Ate

Hm....Im not sure that would do it. Better make it a pair of these:
  17. LoL....no.
  18. One Seven Five Em Pee Ach.
  19. None of the other OEMs are doing anything.
  20. I saw one of those pull out of a Hyundai/Kia facility today. Must've been a contractor...?
  21. Well you'd be wrong. :AH-HA_wink: Maybe we'll have a re-do of the VW CC thread?
  22. Haha...yes, yes. Those would be coming to Left Lane in a few days. I shot the SRX in front a $2.1 mil house. Guy has 3 Caddies and F430 in the garage. I think he wants an SRX now. Wonder what my commission is on that?
  23. GM gave me the 2010 SRX for a long weekend. Quite a good car. With the AWD and adaptive "FE3" suspension, the handling starts to feel almost Audi-like. Looks great inside and out. Absolutely kills the RX in styling. I didn't really like the way the SRX looked on the outside at first, but the more I see it, the more I like it. Just one of those cars you need to see in person.
