09MY A5's/S5's will have Audi's Drive Select as an option. Among other things, that includes an adaptive suspension. Might help that rough ride some. Though with the roads around Detroit, there is only so much you can do.

Yes you should. Don't forget the S5 gets hit with the gas guzzler tax. Price it out on edmunds to see that added to the cost. I think it's about $1700. Also, A5's/S5's are in extremely high demand and hard to come by right now. If you order one it will be *at least* 3 months. Don't forget the back seats are more/less for show. The trunk is huge though. The mpg is also quite terrible. None of that really matters though. Get a hot car while you can. In a couple years it will be too expensive to operate one of these cars.

A few of us were talking about a situation like this.. We figured if a cop clocks you at such an insane speed he's at least going to want to hear a story about why you are doing what you're doing before he throws you in the slammer. Or if the story is good enough...letting you go.
