Here's my entry. The new Pontiac G5 is a smash hit among Mopar, GM, and Import fans. With Muscle car styling in a little package.

No it just says they everyone let it slide by building more trucks and SUVs and not only American vehicles have gas guzzlers. Also as mentioned above the Ridgeline V6 gets the same mileage as a V8 Silverado. Gas guzzler isn't restricted to V8.

Is this GM's own hybrid technology? I know this is probably ignorance talking, but I've read that they leased Toyota hybrid technology and used it in their own vehicles.

Honda builds SUVs hence letting the mpg slide in the past 20 years, it did not say they build gas guzzlers. This article is from December.

If GM buys them they should revive plymouth and make them purely a muscle car company. Nothing else and low volume if they must, but hopefully it would appeal to make it compete with the mustang.

Everything in china sucks! So much crap is made from china already. Everything I've had that has said, "Made in China" has fallen apart very quickly. From that alone I wouldn't trust their cars even if they did copy other countries.

How would they possibly sell them there? I thought it was nearly impossible to sell American vehicles in Japan.

You're lucky... The west coast (California, Oregon, Washington) are paying over 2.50 and lots of places are in the 2.70s. Notice how they jumped back up after the elections. If they can get the V6 to around 35 MPG it would be good, but they won't since the Aveo can barely do better then that.

They said they'd have to sell over 100k to make a profit or make a market case for it, they thought they could do that, but if gas does go up that high not many people except enthusiasts will buy them and not even all enthusiasts, because not all of them are rich.

Do you think the Camaro is doomed? With all this speculation that gas will hit $4 a gallon by summer 2007.

I withdraw my comment! This has already grew on me, besides the different angles make it look better. I was disappointed, because of the hype, but that's over. Funny how everyone who hasn't heard all of the commotion isn't disappointed.

This is stunning? I knew it wouldn't be a looker, atleast it will probably be as good or better than the competition, although I don't see it winning 1st place on magazines. Just can't happen. Although the side looks pretty good.

Ugly! The aggressive headlights/tail lights doesn't match the blandness of the rest of the car so it looks very out of place. Not to mention that it doesn't flow very well.

So what? The Commodore is bland and looks just like everything else out there. Not much to differentiate it from the rest. The GP successor won't be that great. If you ask me the new Holdens are already tired. Same basic look as the old ones only edgier..

Ugly! The front and rear may look aggressive, but not that good, and it doesn't match the bland bland side! Reminds me of this bland potato salad I had awhile back.
