  1. Man I wish my issue of PHR would hurry the heck up and get here . David
  2. Looks good to me . David
  3. Missed the show , but from the pics others have posted that is going to be one slick Cadillac . David
  4. They had one at NAIAS also. It looked good. David
  5. I just got back from NAIAS on Monday and I had a great time. I hope you guys enjoy it just as much as I did . David
  6. Could be interesting. David
  7. My votes: Camaro - Build it Challenger - build it F3R - BAG & BURN IT C30 & Roadjet - Bag them both Imperial - Double bag it Rapide - Refused to vote since I could not vote to bag it (I like other Aston Martins but have no use for this car). David
  8. I just saw the newest (that I know of) issue of Wheels Magazine. It is not the issue they show on their web page. Anyway, it has an article about the VE and shows it "uncovered" (it could be a chop, but I haven't been able to read the article yet. It looks right though). It looks sweet, I want one :) . I will post up some stuff when I get off of work :) , or somebody else can if they have it. David *EDIT* Just found this pic of the cover.
  9. I am getting used to the roofline, I still don't totally like it, but it is growing on me. I think the rest of the car is great though. I hope it gets the powertrain that it is rumored to be getting :) . David
  10. In a few years, my next vehicle may be a Magnum or Charger ex-police car. Of course this depends on how well they hold up, and what GM is offerring at that point. I have owned three 9C1 Caprice ex-police cars and they have been great for me, and I haven't even had one of the 94-96 LT1 Caprices. Right now, these seem like a nice alternative. David
  11. Works fine for me   . David
  12. :metal: :metal: :metal: David
  13. I will be there :D . I do not know what to expect at this point, but I have high hopes. David
  14. I feel the same way about the Impala, Monte Carlo (though the V8 SS versions are a step in the right direction), the Malibu, what they did to the Nova in the 80's. They might not be (or have been) bad cars, but they do not deserve their names. Nice chop Bimmer, I definitely would have preferred seeing that on the road than the current "Monte Carlo". I am not sure why they didn't offer that in the first place :( . David
  15. No, he is saying that in '98 GM took over production of the SS's (built them on the assembly line) instead of having SLP "build" them (by converting/modifying Z28's). The RPO code for the SS was WU8 from 98-02 (it was R7T for the 96-97 SS's). Options could be ordered from SLP, using code Y2Y, and only then did SLP do anything to the 98-02 SS's. You had to have a SS (WU8) to get the SLP options (Y2Y) and many SS's did have SLP options, that (along with SLP building the 96-97 SS's) is why many believe that SLP built the 98-02 SS's. David
  16. I am still skeptical, I would love for it to be true but at this point I am just waiting for Detroit. David
  17. Hopefully there will be picks soon. David
  18. My Dad's 3800 5spd '96 Camaro was fun (when I got to drive it), gets good gas mileage, and has been reliable for us :D . David
  19. I FINALLY saw a Solstice recently on the highway, and it definitely stood out. I saw a MX-5 at the Mazda dealership and well, it looks like something aliens would use on cows. David
  20. MMMMMMmmmmm 6L80E  . They also use them in the STS-V and XLR-V. I want one in my '56 :D . David
  21. I think Grand Am fits the G6. I would like to see a Tempest or LeMans, but they should be the base model of the GTO. David
  22. Unfortunately I have to agree, that thing looks mean. I wonder if Mitsubishi will be bad that Nissan stole the "X" nose though. Anyway, it should be interesting to see how it translates into reality and to see what kind of specs it ends up with. David
