  1. This is good news (if true, consider the source), and a good idea. Whether it's called Delta or global small platform, Saab will be able to use this car. I think it'd be light years away from being a "Saab Cobalt." That's BS. The next Astra's sure to be on the money, and by default, the next ION (Evoque?). If Saab takes the platform and makes it's own car out of it, and goes after the A3,C30, etc., then I say go for it. The next 9-3 will sure grow a bit, as will the next 9-5. Throw in the rumored upcoming crossover and the Aero X for a halo, and you've got an attractive brand.
  2. Yep. Knew it was coming... really, it's time to see the RSX go. If anything, they need a TL coupe.
  3. I agree 100%. 280HP HFV6 needed ASAP. 350HP N* (well, that's my dream) ASAP. 6SP needed ASAP.
  4. Agreed. If it's anything like the Enclave's interior, bring it on; and execute it right, Buick.
  5. I think it looks alot better than the sedan.
  6. I think it looks great. If this is truly what the next Ion will be, Saturn will have a completely awesome lineup.
  7. I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the Opel section. Since the Ion will essentially be the next Astra, I thought I'd put it here.
  8. I always loved the name "Skyline." I don't care what it's called, I really like it.

    Agreed.
  10. I stand corrected. I'd be perfectly happy with a few thousand songs at my fingertips.

Does anyone know when the next 9-3 debuts? I haven't heard anything about it, and I now that the 9-5 has been heavily refreshed I was wondering if the 9-3 would get the same treatment.

I agree 100%. Saab needs this. It'd help to elevate the whole Saab line. The interest in Saab that the Aero X generated demostrates that with the right product and the right focus, Saab can be a real winner.

Very true. Caddy needs to work on a true flagship to battle the S/LS/7/Q. Also, I'd love to see a coupe version of the CTS (for the 3 Coupe), or even a STS derived coupe (for the 6-Series). That's just me...
  14. It looks good, IMO. Much better than I thought it would. Nice detail in the rear.
  15. Well, to each is own. I disagree with you. The car's skin is much more taught now. It's been lowered a few inches, and is a bit wider, for a much more aggressive stance. The look that you call heavy, I call substantial. Though I didn't think the last gen's headlamps looked "plasticky," I agrree that these are better. Infinit's made state of the art headlamps one of it's hallmarks, starting with the current Q. The ones found on this G look great, and will probably looks really impressive in person. As far as the interior, I think it'll be a huge leap forward; both in materials used and in fit and finish. I look fowrad to seeing the difference personally.
  16. If it's 9.5 gigs, that's an incredible amount of memory (which is great). I'll be able to put thousands of cds on there without worrying about the memory getting full.
  17. This car's not a reskin. All new next gen.
  18. Yeah. My dreams have been answered. I hope they put ALOT of memory on the hardrive... 1gig, anyone?
  19. The car looks really good at this angle, IMO.
  20. I'm with you on that one. I just don't get why they don't take a bunch of pics with the different interior options. Wood, no wood, navi, no navi, etc. Check this site out. It's Infiniti's page for the new G: http://www.infiniti.com/allnewG
  21. Yeah. That's the direction they've gone in all of there cars with the wood interiors. They's a natural, matte finish to the Rosewood they use. I think it's a good way for them to seperate themselves from the other lux makes, who all use a high gloss finish to their woods.
  22. Very true. Their interiors can look awesome when they use the Rosewood trim.
