2006 NAIAS: Buick Enclave Concept
I continue to just stare at this thing. I mean, it's the kind of vehicle you buy, put in the driveway, and then sit in a chair beside it and just look at it. It's so perfect. Please be 95% production!

Bull's eye. You're right on target, I think.

2006 NAIAS: Hyundai HCD9 Talus Concept
It seems to be Hyundai's take on the FX. It's not bad, here, but I don't like the tail lights.

Lexus Reveals 2007 LS 460
No hating from my camp. I agree with you. This will be a winner. And the interior is beautiful. Especially because it lacks the iDrive, Command, and MMI (BMW,MB,Audi) systems.

2006 NAIAS: Buick Enclave Concept
LOl. Yeah. I'm 27, and will probably get the next G. And right beside, the Enclave.

2006 NAIAS: Buick Enclave Concept
No. The Lucerne might be good enough to save Buick. This is MORE than enough!!

2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKX
But isn't the RX the Enclave's target too? Along with the MDX? I hadn't heard anything about a CUV based on the D3. What do you know about it?

2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKS Concept
This car is similar to the RL. I dont' see it as a big brother. This is the smaller of the two new Lincoln sedan concepts we know will be introduced. The Big flaship (for the LS, Q) has yet to be seen. I agree with you 100%. I really hope it bends the minds of both the consumer and (especially) reviewer, in a GOOD way. I don't think an intro announcement has been made.

2006 NAIAS: Infiniti Coupe Concept
Just because the design of this concept (which we all know is the next gen G) is evolutionary, doesn't mean it's a refresh. You make it sound like a reskin. This is an all new car, with atleast a revised FM platform (probably the M's), new powertrains, etc. What's wrong with them building they're next car's looks on the last car's success?

2006 NAIAS: Infiniti Coupe Concept
I'm pretty sure it'll get the V8 from the next Q stuffed in there for a high performance version. The IS will get a V8 based off of the LS's 4.6L... so, it's almost a sure bet Infiniti will follow suit.

2006 NAIAS: Infiniti Coupe Concept
The G35 came out first. It's styling is very similar to the current G coupe; not vice versa.

2006 NAIAS: Infiniti Coupe Concept
Amen. This is an evolutionary design, but very well done. The curves give this concept an italian flare that works well, here. I love it. I hope the sedan gets the same treatment.

2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKX
Check out CSpec's comparison chart of the Enclave's dimensions against the compeititon. It's pretty much comparable to the vehicles I previously listed; except that it's noticably longer, so the there is TRUE third row comfort. It's a longish, midsize crossover in the same class as the RX/MDX/SRX et. all. The Aviators in that class.

2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKX
Yep. Basically...
-
2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKX
How? Could you explain that? I thought that they were in the same class. The Enclave is a larger, and offers a third row, but I thought they were in the same class. Along with the RX, X5, SRX, MDX, LR3, M-Class. The Enclave doesn't compete with the Escalade, QX56, and Navigator, does it?

Lexus Reveals 2007 LS 460
Absolutely. Caddy still lacks a true entry for this segment. A new DTS would have been perfect. Maybe with the next gen?

2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKS Concept
Yeah, with the AWD as a standard feature, Lincoln will focus on Acura and Audi. But by default, that puts them in compeititon with the rest. It's not like they're a different segment, just becaus they're AWD. This car spanks the RL, IMO. That said, I agree with the second part of your post. The car is a good looking car, but it doesn't take Lincoln of old, and make it new (like the beautiful concept sketch you posted). But the car is a good looking car, as opposed to a bad looking car, IMO. And the interior's design, layout, etcs. Kills the STS, let alone the CTS. The only Caddy who's inteior is stunning to me, is the Escalade's. It's a fine line that Lincoln and Caddy walk; they have the rich historys that Lexus, Acura, and Infiniti don't have. They have to stay true to there past, while moving forward and being totally retro (which would be bad). A fine example of walking the line perfectly is the Enclave concept. I think that this MKS would sell well, if priced correctly against the majors.

The concept's shifter is lifted from Infiniti. Those wheels are awesome. I also really like the guages; simple and classy.

2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKS Concept
Yeah. That's a really good engine, and they're already using it in the XC90. But, I think that the HP is a little low. When this car somes to market, it'll be underpowered. The new LS makes 380HP; the new S and 7 V8s make no less than 375HP (which mean those engines will trickle down their respective lines to become their standard V8). The next Q's V8 will certainly make atleast 380HP... not to take anything away from the concept. I really like it. I'm just thinking down the line, when this is introduced.
-
2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKS Concept
Yeah. I think that'll be one of their selling points... more car (than the competiton in the segment) for less money = great value. Hell, it works for me. What's most important, is that we know there will be a larger, V8 only flagship placed above this car.

2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKS Concept
As do I. I'm very, very impressed with the looks of this car. On looks alone, I'd take it over an RL or 5-Series anyday.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Nissan Sentra
Yeah. It's really just a difference of opinion. I say it'll be a success, because the Max has been a sales success. This Sentra's face improves on the Max's,IMO, because it doesn't have that toothy grill. As far as the similar car in different sizes, it's a formula that has worked. It worked out very well for BMW with the old 3/5/7, and the old MBs C/E/S. The Max will be redesigned so that it's much closer to the Teana, so there won't be two cars on the same showroom floor that are very similar for very long.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Nissan Sentra
Damnit, I really like it. It looks good, in and out, IMO. It's spacious, and has room to become a premium compact, not that the Versa's here. It comes with either the 6sp manual, or a CVT; and the new four is sure to make around 180HP. If I was in the market looking for a compact car, it'd be either this or the Cobalt. The Jetta's nice, but overpriced.

2006 NAIAS: Buick Enclave Concept
It's on the Lambda. I'm pretty sure that it'll be standard AWD, but they may make it FWD with an AWD option.

2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKX
Wow, I think ya'll are being a bit harsh. I think that this is a great addititon to Lincoln, and it looks great (in and out). I'd rock it in a heartbeat. That said, the Enclave BLOWS this out of the water, lol But like VarianceJ30, I'll save my final assestment of that comparison for the production Enclave.
