Next-gen Skyline to be sold as Infiniti in U.S.
Something tells me you don't know much about the GTR. The old one had a reputation for exotc supercar performance. This new one won't dissappoint, IMO. I look forward to the comparos with it and the Z06.

Next-gen Skyline to be sold as Infiniti in U.S.
The obvious decision, and a good one. This will insure the Infiniti dealership experience, and the Infiniti warranty. Though this is a hardcore sports car, they'd better make sure the interior is still top knotch. I have no doubts the performance will be awesome.

Official 2007 Camry Pics & Details
I know the feeling. I'm excited about the Aura, but I'm nervous I'll be dissappointed.

Buick Enclave Debut
Agreed. The Rendezvous stands alone in the GM lineup.

Damn it looks good in black!

MPH Makes it up to you...Aspen spy photos
Yeah, they need it. In this market, in this day, you need a large SUV if you want to have a full line. It's like the Escape/Mariner; Trailblazer/Envoy... DCX sees a piece of the market lost because it doesn't have a Chrysler badged Durango. SUVs still bring in alot of profit; expecially hot ones that aren't "given" away. The Chrysler name is so hot right now... it's an opportune time to hit GM and Ford while they're down. Plus, the new Hemis come with DOD, so from a marketing standpoint, DCX will be prepared to address fuel consuption needs. This is a no brainer for Chrysler.

Mercedes C Class Spy Photos
I can't wait to see what they do with the next C. Everything that I read tells me that it'll have a very strong design of it's own, while borrowing from both the CLS and the S; but it won't be another clear baby S-Class. I think the next C350 will be HAWT (damn expensive, though). B)

"Killing the Dream"
I agree. That's one way, and a good one, of differentiating themselves from the other divisions.

Quick Fixes to Perfect G6
So the concept's taillamp is made out of clay? I fooled me, then. I know the body is, but isn't the taillamp a real one-off lamp? As I said, the concept's taillamps look 100X better thant he production's.

Quick Fixes to Perfect G6
Stop posting those G6 concept pics!!! It's a constant reminder of what the G6 could have been, and should be. The production is simply watered down. There sharp creases, wider stance, and beauitful rear (especially taillamps) are lost on the production. The G6 interior stack, however, is the single worst part of the car. Not the materials used or fit and finish, but the design. You want a quick fix fot he G6???? Give it proper taillamps, of good quailty(like the concept), emulate the concept's wheels, and totally revamp the dash/stack. Then you've got a winner.

Chevy Poised...
Nope. The need a Camaro. Period.

2006 Detroit Auto Show
Damn, you read my mind for the most part. I'd never buy one, but I'm interested in the Camry to see the final pics/specs, since it's considered the benchmark. I agree 100% that they nailed the interior, while the exterior is typical Camry boring, IMO. I'm interested in the LS for the same reason. I can't wait to see the Enclave; it hink it will a show stopper and the most significant vehicle there. Period. I'm VERY interested in the next G coming this fall, since I may very well buy one. I'm also wondering if there will be a production RDX and a concept Infiniti CX shown. The other car I'm really anxious to see is the production Aura.

Free Buick Lucerne
^ I'm already jealous. I won't get the chance to go to mine. Buick is addressing a serious concern I've had with them for a while now. I'm excited that the divison that's supposed to be an American Lexus is addressing and catering upscale events for potential customers. This is part of what should be a luxurious experience to match the lineup's luxurious product. I saw the Martha Stewart episode and enjoyed it alot... The winning team came up with a great showroom display.

Toyota launches new vehicle 'Belta' in Japan
Cute little car. I'm still not a big fan of gauges being place in on top the center stack in cars, but the interior's alright. A little futuristic, but alright.

New Look for Opel
DAMNNN... That is hot^. It's a shame that's just a chop. It'd be nice to see over here (as a Saturn).

3 arrows up for Buick
Jeez, I just hope the Lucerne's successful. That was a great summation of the Lucerne.

Yeah :(

Real-World Lucerne CXL pictures - Blue/Shale
Agreed. It's a shame it can't all be nicely intergrated. All of GM's vehicles look like they just stuck the HVAC/Radio controls in a hole in the dash.

'07 Camry Spy Pics
This Camry interior kills the CTS. I never liked it, personally. As far as the others in it's class, the Camry may have the Malibu and G6's interiors beat, but not Aura's.

New Saturn Vue/Opel Antara pics
If it's a chop, it's a hell of a chop. I like the looks of the pics, all three. Very nice.

Beyond Precision
It's not a bad commerical. I finally saw the Buick in person yesterday. The damn dealership only had two, and they were the very basic CX models, with cloth and bench seats... nothting to them. I was so damn disappointed (in the fact that those were the only two there).

Buick's Popularity
I can't comment to heavily on this, because whenever I do it takes an emontional toll on me. But basically, I agree with you and Ven... I've been saying it for years now. Instead of some crazy stepped ladder scheme for buick, it's lineup should closely match that of Lexus. Lacrosse should be a firm competitor to the ES, but be a bit less expensive and even more heavily contented, for that value edge. The same goes for Luceren and the GS/RL. The same goes for my phantom RWD V8 only Buick Flag competitor for the LS. Who cares if GM has a two cars competiting in the same lux class? It wouldn't be a problem if they're marketed right, and at two different ends of the ends of the lux spectrum. That would take pressure off another GM division vying for that sub-30K market. Now we'll seeing Saturn moving up, and we'll have the Aura crowding the upper 20K end of the market too. (Sigh), I'm exhausted now.

Buick's Popularity
Yeah, at the moment you're right on target. I'm hoping that that plan changes at some point to include what you described, plus a V8 only Flagship and a Velite/Halo car.
