  1. I think you're right. Maybe just a CL model. This one doesn't even have a sunroof.
  2. As far as the dash goes, I hope that the stiched leather makes it to production, whether it being standard or part of a premium options package. I'd like it to be standard; it make would make a great statement about they're supposed luxury position in the market. Atleast the armrest is leather.
  3. Agreed. The Acadia's mirrors are hella nice, so it stands to reason the Enclave's wil be atleast as nice.
  4. The portholes will be there. They're just either covered or not there on this mule.
  5. I'm a bit worried about that. There's an obvious thin strip of metal running under the wood along the dash, but it doesn't look like the thick, rich strip of the concept. However, if you notice the driver side door, the thick, full strip of the concept returns in it's right place, which gives me the impression that it'll be there. We'll have to wait and see some high-res pics, I guess.
  6. Anything less than 18s would be unacceptable. I think 18's standard, with 19's for the Resevere (or Super) with the V8 would be sweet.
  7. Not really. It's just good camo. Underneath, it's sure to retain' the curves in the front and rear that really makes it stand out.
  8. Still not loving the chiseled looks. I believe this is a very accurat rendition, so it's a bit of a let down for me that the car wasn't "softened" a bit. The interior, however, will be nothing less than world class, from what I've seen. The interior is simply awesome.

That would be ideal, but Ghosn wouldn't allow it. Nissan would shoot it down... Nissan own's a piece of Renault, in addition to Renault owning a piece of Nissan.

Nissan's lag in sales is largely due to the cyclical nature of the business. They've got alot of product that's showing its age, but there'a about to be yet another slew of new or refreshed products. We all know there's nothing better than new product. Within' the next few months, the new Altima, Sentra, Maxima, and Versa will be introduced. Not to mention they finally fixed the Quest's interior. It's laughable to think that Nissan's sales slump will be long term. Additionally, it's laughable to think that GM needs "help" from any alliance to get "fixed."

Lets hope so. I've got to admit though, I've lost alot of faith in their commitment to Buick.
  12. Geez, that really looks good. The color's right, and the black leather interior looks on point. All of my negative thoughts on the wheels have disappeared. They look hot as hell in these pics; very sporty. Camry, Alty, Passat, Accord, who?

Ookay, read the above post. It's not about how much HP I'm going to be able to squeeze out of the paddle shifters, it's about the enjoyment or drivin' the car (since I'm pretty sure it'll be an AT). If the idea of paddle shifters doesn't float ur boat, so be it. I just think it's a cool feature.

They're a criteria because whatever car I get it'd be an automatic since it'd be my daily driver... For a weekend car (Sky, anyone?) I'd take the 6-speed manual in a heartbeat. I like the idea of the paddle shifters more than that of shifting from the stick when an auto's concerned. One thing that the CTS is sure to have is a 6-speed auto, while Infiniti's stuck with the 5-speed auto, and that'a a factor too.

Who know's why the picked magnesuim... maybe it just sounds good, or they got a good deal on a ton of it, lol. I'm sure the weight has something to do with it. I loving both the outside and inside. I didn't like the first gen's center stack, but I do like this one. It takes the theme from the M without copying it directly.
  16. titan replied to titan's topic in Infiniti
Well, will the CTS have magnesuim paddle shifters?

Are you serious? Rosewood is extremely expensive. The cutline on the hood will stand out? It's actually done very well. Porsche has been doing it for decades, and no one complained. But, I guess since Infiniti has done it something similar it'll really stand out, right? I think Infiniti did a better job here than on the 911, because there isn't a cutline around the headlamps on the G; it's all intergrated. But like you said, the G and just about ever Porsche will have a glaring hood cut line that will stand out in every color, right?
  18. titan replied to titan's topic in Infiniti
Yeah, I like the aluminum too. I thinks it's clever to texture it in the pattern of traditional Japanese rice paper. Out of the two though, I like the Rosewood more.
  19. titan replied to titan's topic in Infiniti
LOL. I dont know. I think this car is beautiful, and I love the interior. The Rosewood is an extremely high end touch, and I like that Infiniti has it in a matte finish, as opposed to the high gloss finish used by every other lux car maker.

It's funny that Infiniti did that on this car, because it's very expense to have a headlight totally intergrated into the front fascia. I've only see it dont on Aston's cars... Every car maker it's easy and makes total sense to put cut lines near the headlamps, because it's less noticable. Or, have the hood meet the top of the headlamp so it's easy to work on/replace in case of an accident. I love the fact that these headlamps are "floating." It's an extremely clean look, not cheap to pull off.

Out of the two interiors, I like the warmth of the wood more.

Unless the next CTS is absolutely jawdropping, this is my next car. It looks stunning in these real world pics, IMHO. Also, I think the interior looks great. I've been waiting to see the interior with the Rosewood trim, which is beautiful.

I absolutely love the wheels found on the concept. I pray they'll make them to production (it'll only increase the already very good changes I'm getting this thing).

    I wouldn't be surprised.
