  1. Fun with lifted trucks, automatic rifles, rocket launchers, and a beige Camry: And a nice Caprice burnout
  2. There are some Mazdas for sure (I know for sure they have an RX-7 and an RX-8 ), and I think there is also an S-10, but no Cavaliers that I have seen.
  3. Here's some San Andreas ones...I d/led a ton of new cars lately and found an '87 Grand Prix! The ones at the beginning have been photoshopped a little. '81 Fiesta gets owned...wait until some creates a Prius...
  4. Ok, maybe I jumped on this "directive" too quickly...the board it was posted at is pretty highly liberal and they have a tendency to go overboard. But with all the other controversial legislation Bush has passed, it's hard to avoid skepticism. Either way, I would just like to end with a quote by Benjamin Franklin: "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both."
  5. This bill was passed a couple weeks ago by President Bush without Congressional approval or oversight; mainstream news has not covered it, in fact most don't even know about it (I found out via a skyscraper forum). Essentially, this bill allows for the "continuity" of America in the event of a catastrophic disaster that would give extraordinary powers to the executive branch, throwing the system of checks and balances out the window. A catastrophic disaster could be another Katrina, 9/11, major earthquake in California, economic depression...you name it. Not only does the executive branch gain more power, but the president can take control of "private sector owners and operators of critical infrastructure." Some excerpts: Link to the bill: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/20...0070509-12.html Article: http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=55825 Spread the word, let everyone know this bill has been passed and what it entails. I think there would be more of an uproar if people actually knew about it.
  6. Mark Rechtin Automotive News May 28, 2007 - 1:00 am LOS ANGELES -- A batch of camshaft failures in 5.7-liter V-8 engines has dinged the launch of the Toyota Tundra pickup. Camshafts in 20 engines have snapped, says Toyota spokesman Mike Michels. The outside camshaft supplier, which Toyota declined to identify, has traced the problem to "a metallurgical defect in the casting, a flaw in the metal which they have corrected," he says. To date, Toyota has built 30,000 of the engines, and the company is determining how many might be affected. Michels says that it was "an early batch," and that "Toyota is confident in the production from that point on." Full article: http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dl.....;/70525073/1128
  7. LOL, the ricer video is funny where he uses a comedy clip..."And I'm not saying they're stupid but they put the name of their stereo on the back window of the car...JL Audio, Kenwood...hey thanks for the contents listing, retard! That's like wearing a t-shirt that says 'I got $500 bucks in my pocket!'"
  8. Happy b-day Charger! I had Taco John's yesterday at the mall...so much better than Taco Bell!
  9. Happy belated birthday!
  10. Probably made by some clueless tools that think F&F 2 is off da hook.

Italian mozzarella is so good! Man, it makes me want to go back just for one more quattro formaggi pizza!
  12. Perfect timing. Gas will probably be $5/gallon by the time this thing is out.
  13. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/19/world/am...amp;oref=slogin A main ingredient in anti-freeze was put into Chinese-produced toothpaste and sent to Panama...this is the same ingredient that the Chinese sent over labeled as a harmless glycerin that was mixed into medicine and killed over 100 people in Panama. The countries of the world need to put some serious pressure on China to clean up its act, or else I say boycott all food and hygiene products from them.

Great Seger song that mentions Omaha (area where I'm originally from)...good one to drive to. On a long and lonesome highway, east of Omaha. You can listen to the engine moaning out its one lone song You can think about woman, or the girl you knew the night before, But your thoughts will soon be wandering, the way they always do. When your riding sixteen hours and theres nothing much to do And you don't feel much like riding, you just wish the trip was through. Say, here I am, on the road again. there I am, up on the stage. Here I go, playing star again. There I go, turn the page.

I had always made grilled cheese sandwiches with American cheese until I went to Italy and found out they don't have American cheese (or any yellow cheeses), so I started making them with Swiss. Wow! Sorry Kraft, ain't going back!
  16. This is pretty much the way I see it. Free Trade is great in concept, but you need checks and balances to keep it from going overboard like what is happening with China and our growing national deficit. Like they say, moderation to everything is key...that includes globalization.
  17. It's weird having three other people have birthdays on the same day as me, because it seems like nobody I know has a birthday in May. But thanks for the birthday wishes...23 on the 23rd!

Boston, Chicago, New York Dolls.Yeah, seems like food and cities were popular band names in the 70s.
  19. I wouldn't be surprised if Ford has a Taurus hybrid out in the next few years. Either way, with the Escape Hybrids proving themselves durable and Ford having a long-time relationship with NYC cabbies, I think Ford will still keep a majority of the business. Fleet drivers, especially taxi and police, are very reluctant to switch to unproven product...they buy what they know and what will be easy to maintain. One comment I read was how it would be best for Ford to build a CV hybrid; not only would they get to keep the tough-as-nails Panthers that are easily repaired and cheap to maintain, but it also avoids resale values dropping like a rock on whatever retail product would be introduced in large numbers to the NYC fleet.

I was listening to the radio today (classic rock station) and they played We Will Rock You / We Are the Champions....man, I forgot all about those killer riffs.
  21. The link isn't working for me...?
  22. I don't trust China as a country anymore. They are too secretive about their intentions and have few regulations on anything. The nation has one of the largest armies in the world and continues building it up, and on top of that they are buying up companies left and right and control a large portion of our own economy. This is the country that thinks the US dollar should be valued half of what it is now...and they are buying more of our dollars to deplete the value. Now they want to send us chicken, which they have a less than stellar record of providing safe product...and Americans will scoop it up because they want everything dirt cheap. I'm sure Wal-Mart will be the first to stock it.

  24. Yeah, I knew it was a LeSabre....but I really did mean I've always been a fan of T-type G-body Regals. Bad choice of wording....
