NOOOOOOOooooooooOOOOOOOOooooo... oh well, atleast it wasn't an M3, it looks like it is better off anyways...unfortunately...it looks like its owner put a fart can on it...how sad, defiled a perfectly nice e36...on a side note...that's a big ball... anyways, so, for this SoCal meet, how is this gonna work out? Do we have any set dates yet?
  2. haha...yea...that engine sounds through the speakers thing I can relate to...my dad's car did that, as does mine sometimes (but i don't listen to AM radio so whatever)...It's funny to hear the radio revving...

I want to meet everyone....68, BV, NOS, Croc, Satty, Bimmer, (I'm not gonna go through everybody so if I left you out don't feel too bad...it doesn't mean anything)...I just want to meet up with everybody...see everyone from the forums, meet everyone face to face...
  4. omgwtf...almost forgot... Scarface Anchorman Napolean Dynamite
  5. yea, doom didn't really follow any of the games...obviously it was strongly based on DOOM 3 but with that resident evil premise...kind of weird how they did it...I liked it, but it could've been done differently and it probably owuld have been a whole lot better if they pretty much made it exactly like doom 3...that FPS scene though was pretty awesome I thought...

  11. This is exactly what my car will sound like after I'm done with it...I so want this exhaust...it's an Eisenmann race exhaust with a super sprint straight pipe (resonator delete)...sounds awesome...unfortunately it ain't cheap.... http://www.dinan540.com/VIDS/540i6_Eisenmann.mov Stock, 540's don't have much engine sound to them...BMW did a job of making the sound of the V8 very unnoticeable...the rumble deffinitely came out more with my dinan CAI...it's a little more noticeable, not by much though...from what my friends say, on the outside it sounds awesome, so that's always a plus...if you want that engine sound though BMW I6's sure do sound sick...

cost to repair can be a bitch with these cars because it is well known that the dealerships highly inflate the prices of the replacement components...At BMW I can find an M5 front and rear bumper with all the parts to install it for about 3-4 grand. I found a website who deals directly with BMW and only sells OEM parts and I can get the entire front and rear bumper kit with everything for the install for around 1,100...The most expensive thing though with body repairs tends to be the paint. I remember my dad took his car to a repair shop to get this crunched fender rpaired...the repair wasn't so bad, but the paint was...basically when this place does repairs, they heavily blend the color and basically start to repaint every other panel surrounding the problem panel to make sure they get it blended correctly...Though they did damn good work...that's for sure.

I don't see why we have to bash Toyota...it really get's us nowhere...I think it is lame to bash them. They make a good, reliable product which obviously appeal to the America populous. There are no 2 ways around it. They are selling those products and making a good profit, so I say more power to 'em. I don't care for Toyotas myself, but I'll give credit where it is due.

As far as the prius goes...I drove a prius in town and I was heavy on the pedal and I still averaged around 46 mpg...my friend's aunt is a toyota salesperson and she owns one...I was talking to her about it and she let me drive it...she was saying the biggest reason a lot of people don't get the right mpg figures is when the cars first come to the states there is a certain calibration they need to have done to them (which can be changed through the OBC)...another reason (which I thought was lame, but whatever) is you have to be taught how to drive the prius the right way...you can't drive it like a normal car...but I drove it normally and like i said, I was pulling off 46mpg average through town...
