VW @ Chicago 2008: 2009 VW Routan
Never said it didn't. But, for what it is, it's actually much better than it's American counterparts thus far and you can't deny that.

VW @ Chicago 2008: 2009 VW Routan
I like this VW van, quite a lot. I think VW has definitely built a better Caravan here. And lets hope Chrysler manages to learn a few things on how to design a nice interior.

V-8 Camaros to be more expensive??
Nothing but speculation here. The car has to be priced as competitively as GM can make it. If it's thousands more than the Mustang, then, quite obviously, it will sell like a batch of coldcakes. I don't think GM, and especially the Camaro guys who have been pressing for this car for quite sometime, are going to hand over sales like that to their cross-town rival and see the car fail in the market. Don't kid yourself.

Production Challenger SRT-8 Interior Pics
Chrysler should spend a little cash and buy a damn personality for each of their interiors. Sorry, but the Camaro's interior design flat out owns the Challenger's, and we've only seen the pre-production cars so far. At least you won't find yourself asking, "Wait, am I sure I didn't buy a [insert other Dodge model here] again?" unlike the Camaro, which actually has an interior design language specific to the car and reminds you, "Hey, I'm not just another Chevy coupe."

V-8 Camaros to be more expensive??
Yeah ... +1 And a new G8 was supposed to debut in the spring of '08, only after the recently introduced model came on the market? Uh, yeah, this article lacks creditentials.

Caliber SRT4 sighted
The Caliber SRT-4 is essentially today's Omni GLHS in spirit and in concept, this comparison is quite true; both the styling of the Caliber and Omni can be accurately described as huge blocks of $h! in a plastic shopping bag, but the performance package is quite impressive for the money and is hard to beat.

Two new Commodore colors
You know, I really like Holden's naming scheme for it's color options. I mean, what captures your imagination the best? A deep, berry red bearing the name "Passion" or "Deep Red Metallic?" I think the answer is quite obvious.

Consumer Reports: CTS tops BMW, Mercedes rivals
Am I the only one who doesn't quite understand the logic of giving the same car two separate scores? The LT and LTZ just differ in standard content (both the EcoTec four and the 3.6 are available on both trim levels, so ...). It's not like the Malibu LT is on a shorter wheelbase, has separate sheetmetal, different powertrains, and a totally different name from the Malibu LTZ.

Look! A groundhog! thump thump thump
Saw a beast of a GMC TopKick 6500 today. Ya know? The ones you can buy with the bed from a 3500 dually Silverado grafted on? That thing is quite a monster.

You know, it just occured to me
I think everyone at GM, expect for maybe Custom, is aware of Pontiac's liveliness and it's potential. If they aren't as aware as I think, I belive Camino and gm4life, for starters, can prove their logic dead wrong.

GM @ Chicago 2008: GMC Denali XT Concept
Thanks, griff. This is really one sweet truck. Anyone else maybe seeing sort of a hint of Camaro in those guages?

FIRST LOOK: Pontiac G8 GT
I'll agree; This hardly qualifies as "journalism" or even "writing," and is more along the lines of "drivel." A thirteen year-old posing as a twenty-seven year-old man at Car & Driver forums can write a post to the same effect.

Test drove Carl-Peter's baby today
Our situations really aren't all that different to be honest. We both are at a point in our lives where we need to invest as much as possible in things essential to our own welfare and future; you with retirement, myself with college. However, where as the rather bleak future of Detroit has you placing your needs over your wants (speaking within the realm of vehicles here), it has me doing the opposite. Maybe it's because I think GM, and the rest of Detroit, won't build a car like I really want ever again, which I'm probably correct in my assumption. So, as a result, I'm going to probably end up stretching myself far beyond my means to get what I want so I won't have to lower my expectations in the future. I suppose, however, I'm doing nothing more than running from the reaper, figuratively speaking; I hope the Camaro joins that elusive 1,000,000 mile club, and kicks the bucket when I do, but there is the possibility that I won't be that lucky, and I'll be forced into that Chevy Groove/clown car-sized, front-wheel drive, four-cylinder electric hybrid, "spiritual successor" to the Camaro. I guess I'm just crazy, but I'm going to choose to run and go down in glory when I just can't run anymore.

Test drove Carl-Peter's baby today
I agree that the Astra is a really nice car. I wanted one for quite sometime. However, it's nowhere near enough car to make me abandon my plans for a Camaro.

GM @ Chicago 2008: GMC Denali XT Concept
I think I'm looking at what will replace my Sonoma, after the loan on the Camaro is paid off. I like it a lot.

Is the site a lot slower

Miss Belvedere UPDATE
Yes, and I don't understand why anyone doesn't mention the fact that it's the car restoring and derustifying itself, not a crew of experienced individuals. I know, I've seen it for myself. Quite horrifying, actually.

Alright ...
Deviantart, where else? However, it's just a photo that Chevy used on the Bumblebee Camaro site with an added in filter effect, so I don't feel too guilty using it. Anyone with Photoshop and five minutes could have made it. I did, however, remove the Transformers logo in the background.

Alright ...
That would be cool. Check your PMs in just a second, too, Northie.

Alright ...
This isn't the first error I've gotten since the switch to the new host. When I updated my e-mail address, it put me back into the Validating Group for two days. Seriously, what the hell is up with the forum software?

Alright ...
Well, it seems that I was deleted from the forums. When I came to log in just a few minutes ago, it said the forums "couldn't find anyone with my log-in details." So I tried logging in once more, and still the same screen. So then I was like, well, I bet if I re-register my screen name, password, and e-mail, I'll get another error message saying all of those details have already been taken. So I did just that, re-registered all of my information. Then I get a screen saying that my validation e-mail has been sent. All of this happening after I just got over 5,000 posts.
