This year's line-up is amazing. I am especially excited to see the new DCX vans. The interior features look amazing on them with the swivel seats and power Stow & Go. The gear shift beside the gauges look odd though kind of like where a boat's would be located. The Detroit is so much better because it is all in one building and it is about $6 CAN cheaper than T.O. but me going to the Toronto Show is a tradition. Been going since February 1991 and never missed one. At that time I was 2 months old lol.

That is what I am planning anyways. I am just not sure if the guy is selling it because it has been there since the 23rd but has since moved but it has never left the lot.

I know we sell rocker guard. I don't like bondo so. I found the exact touch up paint as well. I also looked at the Valve Cover Gasket and it was like $20.00. This car may need some exaust work so I got prices for that as well.

I just did a google search and the GN and T-Types had those mirrors in 87. The interior looks like a GN interior. No bench seat. It had sport seats and a sportier dash.

How could the T-Type have a V8. I thought the T stood for turbo? I will check out other sites. The bumpers aren't original from what I can see. They looked brand new and weren't faded compared to the rest of the car. Up close, the bumpers look like they weren't mounted on exactly right to factory specs. There was quite a gap on the far side on the front.

I looked up the "Special T" T-Type and all I found was that it had a Grand National exterior with a T-Type interior. Anyone know anymore about this like production numbers or what colours they came in. That Regal T-Type outside of my work looks to fit that description except for the fact that it is grey. I believe the guy may know what he has got because it has a T-Type dash pad cover and a sticker on the window with the National 6 logo.

First thing, I don't know if it is for sale. What do you mean by a Special T model?

I work at Canadian Tire so I could see what it would cost there. The rust on the rockers isn't too bad. It hasn't rusted through. It just looks horrible.

Can the rust on the rockers be fixed cheaply to pass safety? How much would the Valve Cover job be?

I started it up and it sounded pretty good. I had the hood open. I let it run for 10 minutes while I checked the exhaust system. I got suspicious of all that mess anyways. I haven't seen it smoke up. I can tell this car has had plently of new stuff put into it. It has a new radiator, new alternator, etc. The oil and the rockers concern me. This has been burning some oil because there were a couple of oil bottles in the trunk. If the valve cover job is done, will this prevent all this?

I did that and it only said $5 grand. I will have to see what it has exactly tomorrow.

Valve Cover job? How can you tell or is it just normal for these cars?

Would the Kelley Blue Book have prices listed?

It is just a small one in the door. It wouldn't even be neccessary.

I have been looking at these Cavaliers for a while and parts are so easy to come by with the 2.2L and many of these Cavaliers being in the junkyards.

What would these be worth though in case I do get to make an offer? It isn't the best shape but it could be repaired.

If I got this, I would pay money only to repair it. I would do cosmetics on the rockers or sand them down or something and then get some touchup paint. I would also pop out the dent.
