Well I gave her a call and she said she would go with me down to TxDOT and fill out an application for a lost title. I called TxDOT and they said they give the title right there on the spot. So I will be picking the car up Monday and getting the title switched over to my name the same day Oh and she dropped it down to 300 also!

I just voted now, and would choose the LT2 V6 like you just did. ECOtec's are good motors, but sadly the Bu is quite heavy. I take my moms 2007 LT V6 MAXX to work and although it's only a 201hp 3.5, it still gets up and goes VERY well. BTW I know the last generation Malibu's weren't the best in the land, but my mom's is spacious, comfortable, quiet and quite strong w/ acceleration.
