The discussions are often intense, and usually with excellent differing view points. *Sorry, I know I am a bit late to the wagon, but I'm a busy boy. I'll be in Detroit in a couple of weeks, and I am freaking out over all of the details, and of what's to come.*

Yeah, I ran into (not literally, of course) my old LeBaron convertible a couple of times.

Um, why doesn't Chrysler just use the same architecture, but reengineer it to be more modern and effective? Something like a thorough update, but not all-new underneath. I agree that Chrysler needs to ditch the Aspen. The Pacifica has the best interior of any Chrysler product right now. The LX cars come in second. Motor Trend called the interior of the Pacifica to have (I'm paraphrasing here) a "high quality look and feel, almost approaching VW/Audi standards".

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that it will look as great as that sketch, and piece photos indicated as a real vehicle in person. Exciting!

Voted Good, but...because it has those ridiculous saggy headlamps like the Suzuki XL-7 or whatever it's called. Plus, the exterior in general is waaay to busy, from the rear reflectors and lamps to the side vents and those headlamps. And, holy crap that's heavy!!! However, I do like the interior, aside from the misaligned door trim panel in relation to the dash, unless it's just the angle of the picture.

Please. It couldn't possibly be that much better from pictures to in person than the new Chrysler Sebring. There. You read that right, that's what I'm comparing the Enclave to so others may understand how I feel. Especially since I saw it IN PERSON in concept form at the 2006 NAIAS. Yeah, looks pretty much the same. And, a reason for substance?? Excuse me for sounding impudent, but I believe that the exterior styling of a vehicle is extremely important. And this just doesn't looke appealing to me. The Lucerne is much better all around as far as outer appearances go. The best looking Buick sedan in a long, long time. Squishy?? Do you know if it really is? It could be a delightfully soft plastic with a matte finish for all we know, lol.

Hmm, I see. But unless something has been drastically changed in testing procedures or mechanical components, the actual efficiency cannot have changed from last year.

Well, judging from what I have to work with, I would say that this new Malibu picture doesn't impress me. It ought to be better in person, and taken as a whole, the car may have a much better presence. From dead on, the Pontiac G6 looks better than this. The Saturn Aura (or Opel Vectra, for that matter) looks better than both.

Ha...ha. Mildly humorous. Better than some other Chrysler ads, no doubt. I think the fuzzy creatures enraged me. I hate things like those. Or those tiny, worthless dogs that one could dust the furniture with.

I voted pretty great but... because although the interior is undoubtedly world-class, the exterior is a bit blobby, and the front of the Enclave is unresolved at best. The grille, headlamps, and rest of the fascia don't look like they go together as a single, cohesive, and attractive design. To me, it's what the front of the Enclave would look like if BMW's Chris Bangle were involved.

It would look good, but I highly doubt that the new Malibu would bear such a close resemblance to any Opel. That's Saturn's department.

Those pictures only reinforces my view point that the new Malibu's interior doesn't look that great compared to what is currently being made. They added different and new details. Details like vents, stereo, materials, and reduction of IP pieces. Only a slight evolution to me. I still prefer the Aura, but I'll decide once and for all in a few weeks.

Thank goodness! I agree in that "Z" designations would be better than SS for the mere sporty models, or the Sport label itself. Or of course RS, or RS with the engine size, like RS 2.4. If they do fix the Cobalt's labelling, the SS would become Z24 or Sport and the SS Supercharged would become simply SS.

Then they must have their hands on some pretty darn good technology if their hybrid (gasoline or diesel?) is more efficient than their TDI engines. Especially when said TDI engine available in the U.S. is generally (averaged) about as efficient as Toyota's Prius... WITHOUT the mileage estimates inflated.

Idea is very good. That idea of execution is rubbish that's best sent to the dustbin.

Sure seems like the VE's will be that way. They're decent looking, but way too bland.

What great news. There's no "obvious" reason that the Solstice (or Sky) wouldn't outsell the Miata. Looks sell, and the Solstice just happens to have a look that can command one's atention like no Miata ever could. Oops, I mean MX-5.

Plus a third. The SX4 is based on a modified Swift platform, so I'm sure that the Swift could be brought here itself without too much hassle.

The Opel Insignia concept/prototype was awesome. And the name alone sounds and appears better than "Omega". To me, Insignia would demonstrate: "This is the car of Opel. It carries all that we stand for. Insignia, because all of the innovation, beauty, and quality that is Opel will be found here." Kind of like the "signature" car of the lineup. The flagship.

True on all counts. The thing about the current Impala is that although I would drive one, I wouldn't buy one with my own income.
