LEAKED LS9 PICTURES!!!!
That is a 5.7L in there, longitudinally mounted. About the only thing left CRX on that thing is the shell. :AH-HA_wink: I would be afraid to drive it. Such a short wheelbase, it'll probably flip or spin really easily when full throttle. Imagine the power to weight ratio with a S/C 6.2L. The engine and tires probably weigh more than the rest of it!

Most importantly of all, will it fit in a '90 CRX?

LEAKED LS9 PICTURES!!!!
Yeah who brought that up? Looks like we need a good ol' fashioned inquisition! Every time I say something about a GM product, people instantly assume I'm comparing it to a Honda, which I am not. :] Honda doesn't have anything even close to the Corvette engines yet... (well except for the engine in the car in my sig. hehe) And they are fine engines.

Edmunds First Drive: 2009 FCX Clarity
The seats in the FCX are completely custom made of recyclable material. They are heated and cooled. I doubt this car shares anything with the Accord; it is built from scratch and needs to accommodate a completely different type of drivetrain. If Honda wanted, they could have built an Accord FCX, like GM did with the Equinox. But to get the most out of the packaging and space, they made a completely new vehicle built around their fuel cell drivetrain. The interior is quite appropriate for this car.

I hate it when news people can't get their facts right
Typical Media: "It wasn't built by Saturn? But it was sold at Saturn dealers; Therefore, using media-logic it must have been built by Saturn too!"

LAIAS: Honda FCX Clarity and HES IV
To the Hindenpeter! I haven't heard of any FC vehicle wrecks yet, so you can't really say exactly what's going to happen even though they have tested it extensively. The FCX has been on the street, fully EPA and safety certified, since '02. But that's just a number of units. Once they start hitting the streets by the thousands, there are bound to be accidents, wrecks, rollovers, etc.

Automotive Poll, perception
Well that's about as biased as it gets right there.

Smart’s Fortwo aiming for big U.S. sales
Hmmmm... Made in France eh? 40mpg doesn't seem like a very large jump over current 5-seater subcompacts that get mid 30's (Yaris:36, Fit:34). If I'm going to have to make big sacrifices in usability and drive one of these, I would expect to be rewarded with better gas mileage. But then the base price is attractive. If you don't care about utility, 40mpg for $11k isn't bad.

Lexus LS600h takes last place in Motor Trend comparo
The front end of that LS is horrible to look at, specially sitting next to the Maserati.

Concept Preview: Chrysler ecoVoyager
So Chrysler looks at all of the technologies currently in development by everyone else, combines them altogether into one car, draws a sketch, and makes a press release out of it?

Official GTR pics and part of specs Released!
It's a bit over the top with the techno/transformer look. Straight lines and odd angles. I think they should have actually toned it down some. And that black grille area still ruins it. But that being said, it does look the part. If only that grille wasn't so gaudy.

LAIAS: Honda FCX Clarity and HES IV
I believe some more information on the Honda stack is available in these videos (in particular the second one). I watched them last week and I am pretty sure the weight and size are quoted for each of Honda's 3 generations of fuel cell stacks, but don't have speakers to watch them right now.

Chevy Tahoe Hybrid named "Green Car of the Year"
How is 21/22 equivalent to 22/31 or 25/36? (both figures are from "much smaller four-cylinder sedans")They should word it differently. It provides equivalent city mileage with mid-size and larger 4-cylinder sedans, and a 10% improvement in highway mileage compared to the 5.3L Tahoe. That being said, if somebody drove one of these 100% in the city, it would likely get the same or slightly better city mileage than an equivalent minivan, while the minivan would get better highway mileage. Unfortunately it will probably be purchased more for the image (green image and SUV image combined, oooh boi) than towing/hauling capability. It might change the game for Toyota. A hybrid Sequoia is probably being hastily slapped together as we speak. And don't worry, there will be plenty of cost-cutting measures. :AH-HA_wink:

LAIAS: Honda FCX Clarity and HES IV
GM was supposed to lease a 100 Equinox Fuel Cell fleet in Fall 2007, according to this press release, but I haven't been able to find any information about the actual release (considering it's fall 2007 right now). Has it happened yet? Regardless of having the "largest" fleet (one-up), Honda has had fully certified lease FCX's since 2002. Also they've made an original modern looking sedan body built around the fuel cell, rather than taking an already existing product (an SUV none-the-less) and equipping it with a fuel cell system.
