TED's been a mod since the beginning. I believe all the mods are now global mods, and thus in the "Admin" category, n'est-ce pas?

Their employees are pretty satisfied though. You can have the most crooked company, but it will have the support of the employees as long as they are satisfied and do not feel like they are screwed over.

use Firefox or IE. It is an embedded windows media player, so if your browser can't handle it, switch.

I disagree. Back seat shouldn't because of kids. In some instances, auto-down can be unsafe...kids throw things from cars.

People watching is definitely a big part of my day...there's nothing better to do when walking to and from class, right? And lots of diversity in LA... The best are the cell phone conversations where the girls forget that they are in public and start sharing way more than they prolly realize!

Why are you bringing Josh into this? I have no ill will toward him, if that's what you are insinuating. I don't know what you are talking about regarding being "passed over" as I never was for anything to my knowledge. Just because Josh and I don't see things the same way and are equally passionate about this site, doesn't mean we hate each other...???

That is pretty strange. Both front windows should be one-touch down. Frankly, they should also be one-touch up in the front.
  9. Gives it a nice muscular look, eh?
  10. Frankly, I think the Lucerne has that draw. It is stunning, especially in red. The interior looks great. I really really want to read a real review on it, one that involved the author doing more than copy the spec sheet into prose. I hope GM got the handling right. I expect nothing less than the exact ride and handling of the 2nd Gen Aurora, if not even better.

Better than not having the balls to say it... Go ahead and laugh, I really don't care. One would think you have better things to do than make fun of someone's music tastes on a message board. That's just so superficial. Frankly, I find it a hell of a lot easier to get pumped listening to "Morning Glory," "Wonderwall," "Hello," "Champagne Supernova, "Don't Go Away," etc than "Yellow Submarine," "She Loves You" or any of the other Beatles songs. Oasis just injects more energy to their music. I mean you're welcome to your opinion, but you don't have to be an ass about it. Your post has "cheap shot" written all over it, and it was completely unprovoked.

Ewwww Can Buick just kill the W-body? It's just nasty.
  13. Ugh I do NOT miss the dorms.
  14. Hehe I thought that was to what you were referring. I'm not too worried, the only person who'd take my comment seriously and be unstable enough on this board to actually do that is all the way on the other side of the country. BVs cool.

thing is, though...that the entire point is that the Toyota workers have no need to unionize. Toyota pays a competitive wage, and the employees don't feel like they are being taken advantage of. As long as employees don't feel "used" or "duped" they will never unionize, no matter how low and uncompetitive wages/benefits might be.
  16. Why's that?
  17. Yea I got confused. Shoot me :P

In the conditions I described, it doesn't matter how bright the guages are, the sunlight reflects on the clear plastic barrier and all you get is orange...then again you ARE, what, 6'2"? 6'6"? So maybe you're tall enough to block it out from behind.
  19. Wait what year is your GA?
  20. Croc replied to Satty's topic in The Lounge
No me too. Oddly though I love Oasis. I really should like both or neither, but Oasis just has more of an edge to them I guess.

What's wrong with the RAZR camera? I've had no problems with mine... But that isn't why I got the RAZR...I got it on size alone since I carry enough in my pockets I don't want it looking like I have a small brick in there.

^^with Satty. All I want is a phone that looks hot, has musictones, phone book/call ID, txt/msm, camera, dual color screens, and makes calls. i could do without everything else. Who really uses all that other crap on a regular basis?

    VERY inviting!

But they are backlit. When driving, there's no problem seeing them, unless the light is hitting them from behind the car (say during a sunset) but ALL cars have a see-through barrier between the cabin and the IP and that reflects light in those conditions in all cars, making guages hard to read. I really don't think the Rendezvous is predisposed to illegible guages. If someone has a hard time seeing them, they prolly need to get their eyes checked. From the distance of the photo, I would not expect to see individual numbers. 72 point font on IPs in kinda tacky IMO.
