we have had a 91 gmc equivilent, still do... the biggest problem we've had with it recently are front axle parts... but it's also AWD, so you should have less to worry about. i think it has ~190K miles on it or so...

gov test.... gov judges... are they not protecting the EPA tests, or at least the ability to "cheat the test"....which can happen for any test...

will this have the DI v8 like the corvette? assuming a 3.6L will be the v6, right?

SAmadei, totally agree. when you have to swipe a license and have your id confirmed, to start and drive a car, mandated, then it will become a privilege, and not a right...but only by law.

while you have some good forward thinking points SAmadei.... i read a short article about how the car has cleaned up the environment... basically removing all the manure horses would leave in public and around your own property that create messes to clean up after when wet, and dust when dry......it may not be cleaner, but it's more sterile... one kind of pollution for another,... sorta. licensing is generally good for something like driving, but lots of the specifics are pretty terrible. like speed limits... when weather isn't bad and not much traffic. pretty ridiculous. along with stop lights when visibility of surrounding area is good, just turn them to yield until traffic picks up....

do we know when "this" engine will be intro'd? LA late this year or Detroit next?

this is awesome the same way the retro thunderbird is awesome.... you'd love to have one to cruise in, but there were lots of compromises in the vehicle overall, the thunderbird didn't live long enough to see the 5.0L and a 6speed.... this one did get the 6.0L and 6speed option. if they made them now, they could be truely great/fun vehicles... they just were made ....5-10 years to early.
