oh, i realized i could totally test what you are complaining about, the side by side pictures, right? don't know why i didn't test this earlier, IE puts the pictures side by side, i.e. the holden pics on the front page. firefox does not hold them side by side, it moves the one picture under the other if it doesn't have enough room in the current window to show everything w/o a scroll bar. there you go, take it as you will, firefox will/can move things to fit your screen and prevent a scroll bar side to side, while IE does not do that.

problems w/ firefox? like what, and by who? (other than the "memory leaks") i love it, other than the crashes it has on occasion, it's better than IE for me, but it also hasn't been around as long...? try opera then...? opera.com it's in it's 9th revision, free (as of like last year?), and for the basics supposed to be better than firefox. (and coming out for the nintendo DS) anyway, we could prolly have a long chat about what browser is better... i'm just asking you to try one out and see if the problem your having on this site is fixed or not.

if it's not a hassle, try firefox @ mozilla.org .here IE uses some web standards funny... microsoft doesn't comply totally with them. if it still doesn't fit well, ....hmm

"work time for your gas"
found on DIGG.COM i'm guessing this means how long it would take to drill up, "ship", refine, and ship again and then come out of the pump, an average gallon across the country, based on some determined wage...? or is it just how long you have to drive, wait in a line, pay, and pump the gas? so if trends continue, it maybe a few years, of this, then prolly drop off again. first drop took ~20 years, second ~ 7 yrs, the next may take something closer ~5yrs? prolly some math formula could make a decent prediction (if it does drop off)... hard to say what the site's (leftbusinessobserver.com), this came from, at a glance, purpose is... take it as you will. this in the wrong section?

Asking again...how long will the 3800 V6
ok, just assuming lacross and GP stick around till 09, where would they be built? seriosly, i don't know... anyone else know where they'd move production, or do they allready do that somewhere else? a H.O. 3800 for '08 and '09 would be nice unless they do replace it... but if not , one w/ what...~220hp and 235ft lbs would be nice..or just whatever SLP could bump it up to?

do you use IE or something else? i'm running 1280X1024 and firefox, having my browser take up ~7/8ths of the screen , only pics larger than say...900px wide make me scroll one way or the other.... i think that's why the chop comps try to limit size of entries so it's not hard to compare one to another w/o having to scroll sideways. unless something in the sites script is messing w/ your browser?

Asking again...how long will the 3800 V6
so gm is going to make the w-body till the MY'10 comes out?...they only converting one line of the oshawa plant to zeta, till '10? you think the GP will stick around that long too?
-
Asking again...how long will the 3800 V6
maybe, but they could stick w/ the 3800 cause as far as we know, lacrosse's refresh is only for '08, and for the w-body, the GP is the only other one still with it, so, it'd be kept to save money , unless they just drop it from the lacross in the 08 "mce" and only offer the 3.6 and 5.3. not sure what the GP would do unless it got the impala's engine lineup.i wonder how the GP GT (3.8 s/c) has sold this year so far, better or worse than years past? edit, lacrosse's refresh as in it's said to move to the EP platform then would have dif engines anyway.

MSN Today
and don't forget that at one time the g6 had a 2.4L I4 w/ 8valves and ohv oh and the impala ss is a s/c engine... v8 w/ only 303hp...w/ a supercharger!!! thier "tech support" page had been down for a few days , this week.

Asking again...how long will the 3800 V6
i'd just have to guess 2 more years...till the w-body "dies" and the zeta and ep 1 or 2 (depends who you ask) show en masse. still debate between the 3900 and the 3.6 will go in the zeta... so pertaining to your question, nothing concrete as far as I know just guessing that 08 may be the replacement in the lucerne?

Grr Arg...
TYD-- has the toilet done that "forever"? it just need to be adjusted if possible (fill hieght) or a new ..uh...not sure what they're called unit... sure if you just ask a lowe's or home depot, or a plumbing shop would beable to tell you what you need. if you have the tools, it might take as long as an hour, but might take you just 15 mins if you familiarize yourself w/ the parts...? edit spelling

3900 specs ?
dang i forgot that was the convert rating... yeah, like the sema shows have..shown...the 3.9 can make 270ish hp w/ just breathing components revised, what was it... like a k&n air kit and i'm not sure if it was cat back or included headers...?
-

name that engine
my bro found out mg used to put those in in europe from buick... he's working on a 240z, the 215 comes out to 3.5L... if he put the money into it instead of a 570z he'd have a 350z V8 he found it funny... no idea on this... an R at the end of something on the valve covers... hmmm

Engine alternatives for Cobalt
i think a 2.0L DI could replace the 2.2 L , would use it in a BAS system too. the cdti sounds feasible w/ the new low sulfer standard coming. should upgrade the 2.4L w/ DI asap turbo optional on the 2.0L if there's no problem w/ that... or it could be s/c and save the turbo for the pontiac/saturn crowd....

Japan Mulls Legality of N. Korea Strike
there are even reports that the missles that failed from the test were aimed at hawaii. if N.K. keeps attempting these tests, things will not look good for them in the near future.
