i just preffer the ones that "hide" when not in use. the only good thing about hood nipples are when you want you wet down bird crap first so it doesn't smear a ton.

  7. toni, your second link is just a regular crt that could be 15"deep as aposed to more like 30" deep. see my post on page 1 about crts w/ lcd thinkness. aka SED TVs

will the larger atlas 4 and 5 cyliders mean a larger 6, more to about 4.4L? and would this make closer to the tune of 310hp and roughly 290ft-lbs? factoring DI in, would this make the base v-8 ( 4.8L ) not needed at all? other than the silverado and other gmt 900's, any other possibilities of this engine configuration? any insider have any info along these lines?
  9. i said plasma just for couple reasons, space, they're much better than lcd's in terms of contrast and color, and progressive display v crts. on the otherhand, a crt could be the way to go till next year when the SED tvs should be out,if you're not familiar w/ this, it's all the positives of crt, but very thin, maybe as much as 1/3 less energy used than a plasma, and COULD undercut the other technologies price per inch above 40". SED uses an electron emitter for each color of each pixel, meaning no backlight needed (LCD) and contrast ratios, with HDR supported, towards the millions. http://www.i4u.com/article3233.html

saw it, loved it. pixar is so great to even think of every detail they can, even the backgounds tons of great personalities pulled in for the voices. just a fun fact, they supposedly used tons of linux boxes to process each frame like 5x faster than it would've taken otherwise, like instead of a few hours per frame , it just took 1 hour per frame of the movie. wonder what pixar has coming down the pipes next

yeah, but...but...but... it hasn't been announced right? and it's 270Hp is aftermarket anyway I took it as just a concept when the "official" changes were put up on here. maybe it'll be a "secret" option later in the year? wonder how truely noticable that boost in power would be? back to the real question...what's keeping gm from making it a 250hp or so engine instead of just the ~233-242hp ...just "production limitations" aka "regulations" or bean counters?

pretty sure i saw one while in southern Ill. (business run across the river) today, only saw the tail by the time i thought it was the aura, looked like those rear lights. ...wasn't driving , but looking out his window briefly, saw something zoom by and thusly looked out the back of the cargo van...

i can agree, needs alittle more differentiation. i like to play guess the headlights / car model at night on the highway.

personally i love the headlight design of the mid 80's regals, something about twin headlights in that package/chrome/marker lights look powerful and refined to me. maybe it's bias on my part, but my first car was an 83 regal wagon
