if this film is "bad", it should still be a visually exciting film, the clip i linked has a higher res vid to download and it is a beauty.

why would the 3.9 need to be modified? it replaced the 3.8L in the impala, and it was available for the last gen camaro, now maybe you're talking about motor mount locations, but it shouldn't be hard to move the exhaust for it, either. yes the 3.6 is allready around in rwd's, but how would the mounting be different than the LSx engines, depends on that more than it's allready in rwd apps, IMHO.

only metric i haven't easily figure out is when engines are rated in KW and newtons. Kg*2.2 ~=lbs and Kph*.62 ~= mph.. not horibbly bad

so do we know it's coming in 08, or is it just going to start on the 09 which is going to be EP2(?)? as in what facts do we know?

prolly some slight differences in the intake, for higher flow in the bigger ones, not to mention less comp. in the 2.0

it'll be great when this gets into a malibu 2.4L(assuming that'll be the base engine in 08), 28/36 seems reasonable, (changed it to +4 not +5 like on the vue's) maybe by "08 the 2.4 will have DI also and make more like 190~200hp?

glad you're ok, was that a road you've been on before? i'm glad something like that didn't happen to me when i lost control and ended up in a luckily low creek. just rear bumper/light was screewed up and a leak in the oil pan that with time and rtv silicone sealed up fine.

maybe they just put the AFM "modules" on those cylinders? and since it's FWD, those would be on the left side of the engine, making them easier to work on if they had to?

what if it's the 5.3? if it can go in the impala....? well theta's have been critisized for their lack of power, i guess.

i was just implying them bringing back a engine size more "traditional" lol would that mean the altlas engine would be a good base engine? i know we've gone over that dozens of times, the atlas being in there has been a ridiculed idea so much.

it's 2.56 here now, but i'm sure that'll change in a few days.
