How do you ask a Stranger for a car?
The law of inverse proportions says: Any car, even a neglected P.O.S. rotting away with flats instantly turns into a diamond in the rough or a valuable collectible the minute someone asks about it. Keep trying though one day maybe you'll luck out- The owner knows who it belongs to, otherwise it gets towed.

Chevrolet Camaro One More Step Closer
Hi. True hardtops have approximately 15 percent higher risk of a non-ejection fatality in a rollover crash than pillared cars of the same size and exposure pattern. Because of this fact, your friends at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Department of Transportation have implemented standards that demand (in short) that all new vehicles subject to the standard that the roof structure withstand the force of 2.5 times their unloaded vehicle weight, without significant headroom intrusion....convertibles are exempt from the rule because if you roll one - you are paralyzed or dead- B-pillars aren't a f*cking option on a vehicle with an integral roof - GM didn't decide to put them in or leave them out. There are also new side impact requirements that are unbelievable! Don't get me started. Structure isn't an afterthought or a maybe.... It's absolutely critical to good design! I thought we went through this before -remember? http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/ruling...NPRM-to-FR.html

Cleaning Chrome Wheels... PLEASE HELP! UPDATED!
Mother's wheel polish works the best compared to any wheel product I've ever used. Use an old tooth brush in the tight spots.... Happy mother's day. Buy a Mothers power ball if you have lots of wheels and little time!

Looking for information
What draws you to the longbed step? The shorties work best for wheeling cause you don't drag frame rails as much with the short wheelbase...When you get to the peak of a hill... I can look in the library of truth for your questions anywho ...but long beds don't always go over the top, they back down in reverse a lot. K-5s rule off road. So do IH scouts. Modified Scout

There is a Guy Who...
The horsepower is only good if you can steer the car...sorry bad idea. Your axles /CV joints would be the first to go, and I mean on the first day. Your parts list will be much bigger than you can imagine, check out the GM performance parts catalog and price list..It's all in there.

Any Older Dads out there?
Yikes! Your math is right on, and you already know in your heart what MUST be done... Snip that thang and get her a puppy right away. Maybe two if one doesn't do it. I was in your shoes and that's exactly what I did. Couldn't be happier.

I have not yet seen an early copy....But I know it's going to print soon. I will find out if the XP number index will be included as it should be, I met the author last week and he is definately one of us. Complete? I don't think it ever will be complete....unless I find a wrinkle in the space/time continuem...in that case I will no doubt handle it. Tidbit for now- some of the Some Missing have been found~

Driving Style: GM Design's first Century
The book will contain many never-before seen pics that were recently recovered from strange storage areas, as well as new pics of old concepts from interesting perspectives, some cars were pulled from storage specifically for this book. I know you have spent years researching this topic yourself, and you should really enjoy the way this historically accurate project is laid out. I wish you could have had access to the archives as I did, and helped with this effort as you should have...Thank you for sparking my interest to dig through dusty old binders of old car ghosts. You were the catalyst for my involvement to assist the author in some ways, and I wish you could have rummaged through the binders with me.... I am truly sorry that you couldn't treasure hunt also. You should be working at GM now, and if it were up to me, it would be so.

Here is a model of the elusive Bison II Twin Turbine Transport XP-795 Chevy Astro III -the only 3 wheeled Vette I know of... check out the exhaust! You tell me what this is and win a prize: 600hp V8 ASSTECH: Astro I is 30 inches high...if that. So much cool stuff - it's like a wierd dream, but then you don't wake up...
