Wall Street Welfare - Fanny, Freddy, AIG, Bank of America
The government will bail out the banks, insurance companies, and GM and Ford and maybe Chrysler, but we will pay for it in a few years either with much higher taxes or a collapsed dollar and a decade long slump like Japan had.

Future Buicks ( ! )
If it were up to me, Buick's lineup would be the Regal (Insignia, SWB Epsilon II), LaCrosse (LWB Epsilon II), Riviera (Alpha), and Enclave. Let Pontiac have the Delta II.

Is THIS Camaro right for our time?
The G8 and Camaro would have been smash hits had they debuted in 2004. I think the Camaro will be a more pleasant car to own than the Mustang.

What is that one Political Issue that is near and dear to your heart
The Republicans only pretend to be pro-life so that they can get redneck evangelicals to vote for them so they can pursue their real agenda - supply side tax cuts and Neocon foreign policy.

Unless they sell the wagon in the U.S., I'm not interested

Sarah Palin.........?
So what? Ronald and Nancy Reagan's daughter was born just six months after their marriage.

Sarah Palin.........?
Yes, if they can get away with it. I am afraid that white rural and working class America prefers a beautiful charismatic lady with little knowledge and experience over an intellectual black man with a funny name.

How do you brand yourself?
I consider myself a Robert Taft type of conservative - fiscally responsible, balanced budgets, and a non-interventionist foreign policy.

FUTURE PRODUCTS -- GENERAL MOTORS
CAFE will force people to abandon larger vehicles, unless they can afford a hybrid combined with a V6.
-
FUTURE PRODUCTS -- GENERAL MOTORS
The G8 is a real Pontiac to me, as it is the closest thing to the great Pontiacs of the 1960's. I understand that CAFE and expensive gasoline may soon kill such cars.

FUTURE PRODUCTS -- GENERAL MOTORS
Wait a little longer for the 400 hp 5.0L V8 for the 2011 model year.

Motor Authority: Buick prepping new small sedans
How will the Insignia-based Regal differ from the LaCrosse, both price and size-wise?

6th gen Camaro powerplant roundup...
I think CAFE will pretty much limit V6 engines to luxury cars by 2015.
-
6th gen Camaro powerplant roundup...
I would just keep things simple and put either a 2.3DI or 1.8DI turbo in the base Camaro and a Gen V V8 in the SS.

Pebble Beach: 2010 Cadillac CTS Wagon debuts
I don't like it either. I like station wagons, but not this.

GM Officially Cancels Zeta Buick
Few of us, including me, are truly knowledgeable about the industry, but I do appreciate reading the posts of those who are knowledgeable.

Spy Shots: 2010 Cadillac SRX caught in full glory
Don't be surprised if the Escalade replacement is on Lambda. Cadillac by 2015 could by two RWD sedans (CTS and Alpha) and two FWD/AWD crossovers (SRX, Escalade replacement).

Let GM Die - from your friends at Yahoo!
Automotive News (which is free for anyone to look at this week at automotivenews.com) said that Toyota may be backing away from the LWB Camry idea and thinks it needs a product more premium than just the Camry.

New Buick to be called LaCrosse, has been butchered.
I don't think that the fate of the Lucerne and the Chinese Park Avenue are necessarily related. If we didn't have CAFE and still had $2.50/gas, I think we would have the next generation Park Avenue.
