  1. 3 coupes? that seems a little much to me
  2. I kinda wish they'd give a no stereo option and cut some money off the price. i usually install my own anyway
  3. big freakin deal. A lot of those things don't come standard on many cars, including the Cobalt, Corolla or 3. No $h! he got a lot in his Focus, its an older design that needs extra standard features to attract buyers over newer, "better" cars

Geo is the last brand that should be brought back (not that any should or need to be brought back). Most people equate it to $h!ty little cars. While the latter association is fine, the former is not one GM wants people thinking about there cars.

  6. Not really. The key word in my statement was cues, like what they did with the new Stang and Camaro. I never said I was totally against anything retro. They both look like were designed and built in this day and age, but I can still see minor design cues throughout the car that acknowledge the history of the vehicle. If there is one going down to the street (well, the stang for now) and only get a quick glance, I’ll know what gen it is. If I saw one of these Challengers quickly, I won’t. You’re reading too much into what I said, I was merely pointing out who I thought the target audience is. I do think the vehicles design might limit the target audience though, and therefore the possible sales of the vehicle. I also wonder what they will do to follow up on this car. Will they kill it after this gen, or will they come out with a Camaro/Stang-esque modern with retro cues car or will they come out with another old Challenger, perhaps another copy of the Mitsu Sapporo?
  7. It screams of designer/corporate laziness to me. I would much rather buy a car that showed creative thought went into the overall appearance than one where it just went into minor design details. That being said, I'm also for acknowledging a car's heritage with retro design cues. I totally agree it will sell like hot cakes. Both to those who are trying to relive their youth (or the youth they wanted) and those who just love older cars.
  8. terrific design? all they did was take a 30 year old design, add a coupel of new touches, modernize the materials and structure and put an existing engine in it. Any monkey with a CAD system could do it.
  9. I don't know percentages, but sales have started to cool off a little, so there is room for 20-30K Challengers
  10. all this "corporate talk" is gonna delay production a year. as far as Brampton assembly (most likely assembly plant) knows, nothing is happening as of yet

and this has what do do with GM?
  12. Rumour has it Alliston (down the street from me) is the leading candidate. A lot of farms around the plant have been bought out, and our healthcare/literacy rates are a big plus. Hopefully our strong dollar isn’t too much of a deterrent.

  22. SACRILEGE! our dollar is worth a dollar. Personally, I liked it back when when ouir dolar was worth 70 cents. It was worse for the average person, but it was a whole lot better for our economy, especially tourism and any business that exports to the States.

I think they'll use a new car, that will appeal to the current generation youth. a C6 Z06 would be perfect. The hood scoop makes for a perfect place for the lights
  25. http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Movies/05/...reut/index.html please god let it happen *crossing fingers* I wonder if they’ll keep KITT a 3rd gen GTA or go newer, maybe the last gen GTO or even the next gen GTO concept if its realized in time for the movies SOP.
