Buick Enclave and AUTOMOBILE
what Enclave was he writing about? I haven't seen the issue. Was he talking about the concept or has he been in a production version?! Until we've driven a real one it is silly to argue about it. If the Tahoe/Escalade/Yukon is the new standard we're dealing with I have higher hopes for this range of SUVs and the future of GM. But don't throw the solstice in for comparisons it still isn't up there.

New BMW 3 Series Coupe Spy Shots
we ran a correction on the site about the touch ups. The photgrapher usually includes pictures before and after and if so we always run the cladded/real version. This time we were told these were the real deal. Our apologies.

Merc X3 Fighter
I wouldn't say "way in the future" remember how much quicker development time is these days. yes it is a car body on the 4x4 suspension. Expect it to look like a cross between a CLS and Infiniti FX. I'd say they get it out before 2010. C series should be next year this should be year after that.

Merc X3 Fighter
Spied. Based on new C class. I'm guessing it will have CLS lines and kind of resemble the Infiniti FX. http://www.mph-online.com/web/spyphotos/0034

The Cameras are on in Chicago
I don't think so. If it's production it wouldn't be out this early in its own space.

2007 Dodge Nitro
Interior will look and more importantly feel different in person.

The Cameras are on in Chicago
yeah no trucks unfortunately unless GM is really trying to pull one over on us. It's just the Avalanche and all the new SUVs. They're also doing a big E85 press conference.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Ford Edge
mphmag replied to Northstar's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Yes the lumbar is much better in the fusion although I hate the electronic fwd/back up and down yet no electronic recline. It's manual. Very confusing.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Ford Edge
mphmag replied to Northstar's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)OK I've been in the Fusion all weekend. What do you guys want me to show you about the interior? I think I understand what you mean by soft plastic on the dash etc. But it sure doesn't offer any better quality to the touch than most others. I'll take photos for you too if you want. Overall the interior is growing on me a lot more than I thought it would. The buttons on the environmental controls are a pain to reach but the wheel has buttons too for that (which is unusual). I like the handling but can't stand the throttle. It has a lot of hesitation when first pressing on the pedal. So much so I missed the gate at a parking garage with an inclined exit. The gate crashed on the hood too. Luckily no damage. Otherwise when trying to dart out in traffic you have to slam the gas to get across. I'm not a fan of that and think they definitely need to address that in next year's model. it could be dangerous even. Otherwise I like the way it drives. Solid as a rock for the most part. Door handles are nice and solid. Gauges are kinda lame. The G6 does have a better gauge cluster that's for sure. As does the mazda6.

2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS
I'm in an ss right now actually. It's pretty nice ride. I just can't believe anyone could live with this interior for another five years since it already seems like it's ten years out of date. Otherwise It handles and drives pretty great. Huge f'in engine. good lookin on the outside etc. I don't like the cloth seats. good idea to go leather.

g-6 convertible design flaw
pricing just announced for G6 convertible. You know where to go for full story but just under $29K.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Ford Edge
mphmag replied to Northstar's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)This is F'in hularious as I had to defend myself against GM lovers my entire time at Autoblog. Sheesh. Maybe I was in the wrong Fusion and Milan. but I think to say it is "top notch" even at that price is plain wrong as the Camry, the old one, Accord and Mazda 6 are all far superior. Oh those aren't American...hmmm. I think if you were a buyer you'd have a tough choice between a G6 and Fusion. I don't think joe schmoe would sit in both and go "boy that Fusion's interior is just so much better I have to buy that"

Car and Driver - G6 GTP Comparo
Remember most reviews all end with the same result: would you recommend this to someone as their ONLY car? the one they plunk down hard earned cash for and not regret it when they see the new GLI next to them etc. NOW. the real problem is the G6 I think is much more practical than all of them, besides the Accord. It's less money when you just get the V6 sedan, has a nice trunk. Looks great etc. I could easily say the GLI looks really expensive even when you line it up to the fully loaded TSX and the AWD Mazda. I drove the GTP coupe and it could barely turn to fit in a parking spot half the time, it was that bad. It was so huge and felt like it! Heck the sedan didn't feel as big and heavy. The steering feel is just not there and if you drove a GLI next to it, it would be a BIG difference. The GTP had nice power but it didn't blow me away and it just didn't "feel" fast. Heck I'm surprised the Legacy GT wasn't included in this. That thing feels like a rocket. Could I seriously recommend the G6 GTP to anyone over all of these other vehicles? Only if there was a helluva deal on it and they loved the looks. Otherwise it would be down the list on all of these. On the other hand I have recommended the G6 sedan to lots of people because of the price and looks.
