well our top ten cars of 2005 (we didn't name a car of the year) will be out in the Dec/Jan issue - on stands around now but not sure with the holiday - All I can say is you guys will like #1. Without giving it away you might remember EIC Eddie Alterman's review of the vehicle as he drove it on Woodward. Dave PS-The Civic Si makes the #8 spot.

http://www.mph-online.com/blogs I added a head to head of the G6 GTP taking on the same bumpy street as the Mercury Milan. Not the perfect comparison but all you GM guys should be happy with the results.

the first freelander tanked actually. I think with the X3 setting a precedent that people don't want a huge luxury SUV but still want a luxury SUV, and with Rover's new status symbol ranking in place, this could be huge. I think the front needs to be mroe aggressive but the back looks just like a rover. I've also been so impressed with the new Range Rovers I've driven. The Sport and regular Range Rover Supercharged are the most amazing machines I've seen recently. Well, besides the Z06.

i just wouldn't pay the premium for the cadillac version. The interiors look similar enough especially if you're using it as a family hauler. Unrelated: Guys, is a Silverado Quad Cab a big deal?

i've been really impressed with all the new gen GMs i've been in, even the Impala. But again why wouldn't you get a LR3? I like the lights on this more than on the STS and DTS because of the size/shape of the vehicle. But the grill just kills it. looks awkward
