If you could make a movie ...
A conspiracy Theory movie about how the White house and politicians screw over the americans to enrichen the upper 1/10th of 1% of america. Oops, Bush already did that. I am sure there is a good one that could be done on Disk Chenay and Halliburton.

Jerry Flint: Obama's Fuel Fantasy
I find this story very interesting and am glad it was posted. Personally I think this kind of legislation is good to drive inovation and push us to come up with better options, but also I feel it needs to be more realistic. I could see 2016 to meet half this proposed fuel standard and 2032 to meet it all. Personally if the administration had a brain, they would force GM to build the baby Duramax and put it as standard in all trucks and suv's. This would get a big bump in efficiency and then go after the more difficult apples to get on the tree.

I shouldn't even be considering this...

New Shoe's Whinning
Was the break job done at the dealership or 3rd party repair shop? I stopped using Midas as they went to life time warranty on breaks and they are so damn noisy due to the excessive metalic in the pads. I would rather go OEM quite and have to replace them every 50K miles than to have a noisy pad.

To Michelin or not to Michelin
So the fact that the Tripletreads are quiter than the aquatreads must be due to the use of Canada's sand oil.

New Shoe's Whinning
Do these shoes have a life time warranty? I have found that shoes and pads with lifetime warranties usually are high metalic content and always squeal or whin. This could end up driving you nuts unless you cannot hear it when you play the radio. I have never had shoes or pads that made noise during the first 500 miles to set / break them in. Only metallic pads / shoes do this.

To Michelin or not to Michelin
MICHELIN if you want a quite tire, excellent traction. I have the BF Goodrich A/T on my suburban, Dakota and Durango, they are the best for that class and type of vehicle. On the Escalade, I have the OEM Goodyears, but like all good years if you go into a parking garage or any place they have cement roads / floors and Good Years always squeal. Very noisy tires. I have on the CTS & SRX Michelins and they Rock, great grip, quite, I can Highly recommend the tire. My dad on his SRX put on the Fortera Triple Tread last fall and loved them in the snow and rain here in Seattle. The last few weeks he has said while it is quite on the asphalt roads, they are much noisier on Cement and still squeal in the parking garages. So both tires are good, but if you really want grip with total Quite, then go Michelin. Price is worth the pleasure of the drive.

Hyundai finally out-GMs GM
OUCH, I agree with you Satty that this is dumb and dumber. This is going to back fire as the last company to try a gimick like this was mitsubish with their no payments for a year and just around the time of the 2fast 2 furious movie. They sold a ton of cars and in a year had a ton of reposensions. Very stupid as this only brings out the bottom feeders IMO.

Will this work on these?
I thought those rims had a clear coat on them so then that version would not work as it is for non coated rims is my understanding.

Phew, Glad that the DILF that cubicle stated was taken the right way. A coworker of mine who also has started to visit C&G just stopped by and asked if I knew what DILF was and I told him Divorced, but he said in his community it stood for dad's and I have to say that is has been a long time since I blushed and of course I give him credit as he has decided to come out of the closet. Most of us thought it but never said anything but today he confirmed it. Personally I could go for the female side of MILF or DILF Kids do not bother me. Preferre none but still would not bother me. R.I.P GM as we know it
I agree with you guys that I love GM too and in the short run will accept the gov ownership to get it on the road running, but then let it go back to being private. In regards to Religion and politics, I personally preferre to keep them seperated, I see no reason that religion should be in politics, history shows this does not work. So I hope not to piss anyone off but love to voice in as I enjoy debates! David
