Sadly I think we will all see GM in Bankruptcy, the debt holders want the write off rather than take shares of stock in exchange for their debt. I can understand needing and wanting a write off, but this will hurt GM. Gonna have to just be patient and wait and see what end up happening.

I agree, I hope they truly get focused and start making each division compete with the other companies out there and NOT with themselves.

Yup, I have relative in Huntington Beach, Sun City, Palos Verdes & Santa Clarita. In regards to Seattle, we only have clouds 9 out of 12 months of the year, that is why our 3 months of summer is in the mid 80's with no humidity and everything is Green. just the way I love it. Course I was born here so would you expect anything else.

I personally think they should move forward with this model but also put this into the SRX. This way you have the New SRX with the current power trains and then the Hybrid version. This would then kick ass and bring in money for GM at the same time of putting Cadillac back up towards the World Standard so many of us want it to have again in Leading the Luxury segment rather than following it.

Exactly, Chevy has pounded into the public, built like a rock, cowboys, union workers blue coller. GMC has gone after the Professional Grade. Shows up scale vehicles, small custom companys doing higher end custom work. As a white coller worker and one that plays hard off road and on road and tows boats, I want a Professional Grade Truck. Croc has hit the Nail on the Head, This is one of GM's Success of Brand Management. I talked to some construction workers working on the building next door and they all drive Chevy or Dodge trucks except a few and the few are the managers who over see the work force. They consider themselves semi white coller and like the image of the Professional Grade Trucks GMC puts out over the average trucks Chevy or Dodge produce for the worker bee's. This is all about successful Brand management and that white coller will pay a few thousand more for the GMC Professional Grade over the Chevy. In regards to your SAAB, they might sell a few thousand in Europe compared to the 50 or so Cadillacs, but here in the US, they barely sell at all compared to Cadillac. Over all SAAB LOST their Premium status long ago and became also Rans next to Lincoln and Cadillac. Cadillac is picking itself up and moving in the right direction, SAAB starved of proper product is best just killing it off. Even the country GOV see's it as best left to a history lesson.

This is your Depression you can tell your grand kids about. Other wise if you still continue to feel like " I don't give a $h!" Then maybe moving to another country then. Change can always be good if done right. I know my parents, grand parents etc all complain about times when they were younger and now that they have even gotten older they now talk about it in a gold age type history of the good ol times. You will have a change of heart also as time goes on.

Why I love to Live in Seattle. I love to visit California for the amusement parks and beachs, but prefer to live in the Suburbs of Seattle and enjoy all that is Green. Seattle you either come in from over the Cascade mountains or over the Puget sound water. Awesome flights into SeaTac airport.
