Had it rained & you went through a puddle that could have shock cooled the pad off?

Probably just a cable or switch adjustment on the NSS & the pad yeah they get thin then overheat the bonding agent BOOM no brakes typical of bonded brake pads though the warning must have squealed for 'bout 10-12 weeks It'll be a cheap fix if done yourself even getting the rotors turned @ pep boys for $5 each pads 20-$25 just do it now before any more damage is done mechanical or life & limb God speed

  6. Those are solid cars we've had 5 in my family and they just keep going & going (Eveready Bunny)I've seen 500K miles on the original engine traded to Reichart Buick while I watched"We thought we should get a new car at .5 milion miles but its been such a good car what do you think " to the salesman. Look for burnt tranny fluid & old black Dexcool II also take a can of WD40 to the intake gaskets & manafold thats the only real problems I can think of. You should also look at Consumer Guide .com for recall history or any other site with that info. Best of luck on your hunt but you will be well served with the BPO full sized offerings series II are the best non premium gas engines that GM built other than Small Blocks hell maybe better! Did I just say that? Oh well

  9. This looks good to me , but what really looks good is GM trying to get China the 2nd largest auto market & fastest growing also, to diversify off petroleum. This is even more important to the USA than China without these kinds of moves we could really be into oil wars with the largest stake holder of our debt

  21. Drew the Auto break real bad also flex-plates all of them are prone to wear out balljoints super fast and have issues with mounting bolts(frt end) IIRC there were recalls on the bolts &S/B on the B/Joints I'm looking for an EXT 1st gen 5spd with a bad engine for a diesel project(hint ala 10hp Geo)each 1 I find is auto or ROPOS
