One of the first proud G8 GXP owners.
Alot of the ones I have seen have been automatics and not six speeds. Maybe she wanted black and a stick? Or maybe it was a better price on this one. This sounds like something I would do over the summer when I have more time.

What if GM/Chevy won't sell you a Colorado SS?
Did they mean 5.3L LS4? Or did they mean a 5.7L LS1? I am just wondering what it started with or was it a Vortec 5.3L. I understand it was modified and now displaces 6L... Sweet a$$ truck, GM can you build one already? Or at least a Silverado SS?

Bob Lutz Comments on the Future of GM's Brands
That is a GM line-up I can deal with. I hope Pontiac is safe and with a new G6 in a few years I see no reason why they won't be. Seems logical to me.

Montreal Autoshow: Camaro SS
I love it. If I were getting one it would be a stripper 1SS or a striper LS possibly a loaded 2LT RS.

Can someone run a Carfax for me?
Thanks so much. That is good to know. I am not opposed to a "fleet car" so long as it has been taken care of right. I am just looking and was wondering this cars history. Thanks a ton. The bumper which I would get fixed would prolly cost around 750-1000 with paint depending on who did it. Which tack that on to 8400 and it doesn't look like such a good deal. Thanks tho for the info.

Can someone run a Carfax for me?
I found this gray 2006 Monte Carlo LS with 35,300 miles on it near Chicago about 200 miles away from me. I like the price 8,500 and the miles but has a bump/scrape on the bumper I could get over in the mean time and get fixed. Here is the vin can someone do me a huge favor and find out the deal with this car? VIN- 2G1WJ15K469169372 please print the screen (control print screen, or email me the page or summarize it) it would be very helpful. I will also get another 100 off so that brings it down to 8,400 bucks. Hopefully more. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance I know someone on here can run a Carfax for me....

Cadillac introduces the new presidential limo
Very true, another reason I love HD Chevy Trucks. Either way Obama gets a sweet ride. Lucky guy.

Interview with Lutz: Volt, Converj
Another reason I wanted a loan but with no strings attached to fuel economy and NO cafe. Just that GM would pay back the loan and build top quality cars. The government will now have more control over what we drive. Everyone will have us in hybrids and with the clunker law few fun RWD V8 powered beasts will be left. Thankfully the world is full of many people who care greatly about these old cars. This is exactly why I didn't want the bailout in its current form because Bush and Obama can tell us what to drive. Just great kiss any fun cars good-bye now. Leave it to the government to screw it up.

Rare 1973 GTO on Ebay...
Yup, if it was a Can Am my wife and I would be talking about it now.

A choice of two cars...
I would go Cav better fuel economy and slightly more sporty and less old-man-ish for a kid. Also less power to get in trouble with. The rust would stop me from getting the Buick anyways.

First Retail Production 2010 Chevrolet Camaro goes for $350,000
Same price to pay to have the first real Camaro I'd say. Wish I could afford one.

Rare 1973 GTO on Ebay...
1973 Starlight Black Pontiac GTO 400 CID The owner whom orginally got the car lives in my town of Dubuque got this car new at a Pontiac dealer in my town. (Whom I never go to.) Still it is a neat piece and is in great shape with PHS and only 82K on the clock. The buy-it-now of $12,500 seems pretty fair. So what do all you think? If I had the money and an agreeable wife I would get it. Even though it isn't my favorite year of GTO still it is pretty sweet. I love the color combo and if it was a floor shift and 455 it would be even better. Not that a 400 is a pooch and it has a bench seat... Don't give me any ideas...

Opinions, please
With paint I'd say you could get 5K maybe more if you found the right buyer. Without paint 3K or so you have done a nice job with it.

What to choose instead of a G8 ST? The Torrent GXP, of course
I would have picked a G8 GXP but a trust me he will like his Torrent.
