  1. Oh Terry will not be happy with you! So what does it feel like knowing heads are going to roll, - - - again - - - ?
  2. What they call it is not the issue. Like you I prefer calling it the DTS. But the mission is retaining current Deville buyers.

BS pure and simple. Wagoner should be credited for what is likely to turn out to be a peacefull labor restructuring with the UAW and DPH. GM for what it is worth over the past 70 years created the UAW and nourished it. And now they are humanely dismanteling what they made. You want to know where a big chunk of that 10 billion went last year. It went to the UAW and DPH. GM had a responsibility and they are paying their child support. Wagoner is attempting to make the most out of a bad situation and giving Gettelfinger some breathing room. For that I give Rick serious credit. Did it cost GM money, yes. Is it the best move, I think time will show it is. Some might call this hush money to keep peace with labor, but at this time given GM's obligations with the UAW this is the best the can do. It is responsible business. In the end, GM under Wagoner have done the best they can do given the situation.

Get over yourself. If certain people want to throw around a biased arguement, I can show them where they are mistaken. Discussion degenerate when people are blind to the truth. The person I responded to had an ignorant opinion. I can just as easily show all GM problems of late.

It has been doa for a while now. This is more semantics than anything important. UV8 - NS v3.0
  6. evok replied to a post in a topic in Chevrolet
No UV8 is DOA - But you might hear it referred to as the UV8 but it is not.

There you go again, deflecting the issue. Typical BM MO.

http://www.buick.com/locatedealer/buick/de...ECSDSQKBXMQEIPS Please note that Patys Lou is in Flint Township, not the city.
  9. See my posts in the Caddilac coupe thread. Cadillac will be stuffed with product by 2010. The dealers should be happy.
  10. ha ha ha - we were thinking the same thing. There is more fact than fiction in my post.
  11. repost: The current STS makes absolutly no sense. The STS is priced right on top of the DTS and the there really is not reason to move up from a CTS to an STS. The vehicles are too close to the same size. The V8 option in the STS is not a high draw in sales or good reason for buyers to spend the premium on the current STS over the CTS. For the Chinese market, there will be an STS-L with a longer wheelbase. Now, if Cadillac consolodates the DTS and STS on sigma, with 2 different wheelbases, they can cover the same market with one car in one plant. The current STS needs to grow to better differentiate the vehicle from the CTS and the fwd DTS needs to go away. These vehicles can be offered with the current STS powertrain offerenings. Call the car the DTS and DTS-L because of the loyal following of the current Deville/DTS buyer. Starting length is 198in with a 5 inch stretch in the rear for the L.

Few to none GM employees, retirees etc eligible for GMS in Tuscaloosa, Tacoma or Tucumcarie.

How many dealerships are there in the city off Flint today?
  14. evok replied to a post in a topic in General Motors
How? I correctly predicted the sale of GMAC, the absurdity of GMS and the $10 Billion loss. I called for Wagoner to resign before it was fashionable and introduced a comrehensive plan to increase market share with lowered expense. Yet, some of you would crucify me at every turn. It's tough being a visionary. Buickman

How about applying for Trump's Apprentice. That way the whole country can LOL at you instead of the few fortunate enough to read these auto boards. I want to see what Trump has to say about your accomplishments. Hell, I want to see you as Project Manager on one of the GM sponsored events. That should be good entertainment.

More likely it would add to GM's current problems. The plan should be called, "Direct Course to Ch 11."

Exactly: Shooting fish in a barrel is not fishing.

For the bizzillionth "F"ing time already. Your plan is "F"ing stupid. Can't you move on already.

    You are full of it.

Might I just suggest you go back and study HS economics. You might learn a thing or two how market share is relevant to a manufacturing company like GM.
  24. This is what is on the books for Pontiac and what is currently only on the books for Pontiac as of this date: G6 replacement and NG Solstice. That is it. The rest is pure GM thinking out in the open!

Testing out his material! lol - Over time though, he only becomes more vendictive and ego centric. Just look at his post about no being a marketing expert. A year ago, The O.C. and myself went line by line and nicely critiqued his 20 Pt Return to Greatness identifing the areas where it would not help GM and why. Not to mention the numerious comments by F-Bodfather who still works for the company. A year later he is still selling the same snake oil with zero modifications to his plan. I am just happy that the BM spam was a lot less than expected prior to the SHM.
