That motor is crammed in there. My Silverado has ALOT more room in the engine bay compared to that. I wouldn't want to work on that motor. To bad the smaller motor doesn't help the Tundras fuglyness.

It is a damn nice truck though. Best looking one yet imo.

Oh yea I agree with you. The interior on them was pretty cheap and it did have its creeks and noises now and then. Look wise I never thought it was as bad as some people thought, but material wise yea it was cheap. I did however like it better than the generation before, but thats just my taste. Everyone likes different things.

I didn't think that the bar was set that low in my 05. I really liked that truck and if I wouldn't have got such a good deal on the 09 id still have it. I thought the interior was better than the rest. I looked at all three truck when buying and I only liked the Silverado. The Ford and Dodges gauges are weirdley set up and the console shifter I didn't care for too much. They didn't bash them this time, but alot of other times they do thats why I don't read their garbage.

I don't know where they get that the Silverado has alot of cabin noise. I thought my 09 was pretty quiet on the inside. I also thought that the materials for the interior were a really good choice. Alot better than in my 05 anyway. Doesn't suprise me Car and Driver always bashes GM when they can.

The time has come to kill it off. They have some nice cars in my opinion, but GM couldn't make it work so I think its time to dump it and concentrate on something else. Don't hurt me guys! lol

GTX for now until the motor gets broke in because I just rebuilt it then I'll go to Syntec. Ive seen alot of good about the GTX but haven't used Syntec very much. I used it in my 88 Chevy before I gave it to my brother and it seemed good. You knew it was doing the job because it always came out really black.

I use Mobil 1 in the Silverado and Castrol in the Camaro. My main thing is not how long it stays clean just making sure it keeps the motor clean. Everything Ive seen about the Castrol is good. It keeps the motor clean and free of Engine Sludge. Mobil one not to sure about as I just started using it a few months ago, but looking at it it looks like a good oil. Seems like the oils that are really clear like Castrol, Valvoline, Mobil, clean the motor real good. Everything Ive seen about Pennzoil sucks. Last two motors ive seen torn apart using it had sludge in them.

I believe the better quality. My 09 Silverado is a really nice truck and everything about it is five times better than my 05 was.

I agree its just that this should have been done years ago. Saab, Hummer, and Saturn should have been sold off as soon as they quit making GM any profit. GM would have been in a better position today if this would have happened, and off coarse if the media didn't bash the hell out of them evey five minutes. Maybe even Pontiac could have been in better shape?

Yea thats true I guess. They could refine the car and make it alot better than what it is now or even get a new model out, but whos to say the public still doesn't want to buy it then there in even more trouble. Im glad im not making the decisions at GM these days lol!
