  2. Welcome aboard Brad! Do you mean a GMC Canyon (pickup truck). If so, that's not too bi polar. At least it's not a Smart car or something.
  3. For me, there is no set definition. If the car get from 0-60 in under 4 seconds, has a top speed of 190mph+ or runs the Nurburgering in under 8 minutes then to me it's a supercar. For example, some people wouldn't consider the BMW M5 to be a supercar but I do.
  4. Here's a car related one: Fords working on a new heated tailgate feature, that way when you have to push it in the snow your hands won't be cold. Job Interview "What's your greatest weakness?" "Honesty." "I don't think honesty is a weakness." "I don't give a f@#k what you think."

  7. I thought this forum could use more Austrailian racing. It's like Nascar but with road courses.
  8. I believe it's a supercar as well. To me, it earns that definition if it's performance statistics are on par, or exceeds it's competition. I don't believe that a supercar has to follow a set of guidelines such as how many doors it has, how heavy it is, what type of engine powers it, or how much it costs. It's really a different method of achieving the same goal.
  9. The third generation CTS looks dramatically different than the second generation. To me, it looks like a brand new model. What's even more impressive is how the 2014 CTS V Sport makes more power from it's twin turbo V6, than the first gen CTS-V V8. Is Cadillac going to use the LS V8 anymore?
  10. It's funny they mention the 7 series because it looks like they copied the styling from it too. I just don't understand why someone would buy a $70,000 Kia. I would be perfectly happy with a BMW 5 series, Mercedes C Class or Audi A6 instead.

This is all quite impressive actually. You can get similar technology like this in more expensive brands like Lexus or Audi but it's available in a Kia. You get a lot of value from new cars now.
  12. This is a awesome series that Subaru has been posting on their Youtube accounts. It follows the Subaru Rally America and Global Rallycross teams and documents their trials and tribulations. It's well produced and gives you a inside look at how much work, dedication and passion it takes to win in rally and rally cross racing. Please enjoy!
  13. It's still a camouflaged test mule so we really have no idea how the production version is going to look like. I think if it's based of an Alfa Romeo then it should be very attractive as I quite like the styling of Alfas. It should have a lot of pep too as the 3.2L V6 is no joke.
  14. You hit the nail right on the head. Toyota has built up such a solid reputation with the Corolla that a lot of new car shoppers won't even be able to tell that the Chevy Cruze or Ford Fusion offer better driving dynamics as they're likely not enthusiasts and only looking for a reliable and comfortable commuter car. It's still a great little car but in my opinion, Ford, Chevy, Dodge and Hyundai have all caught up now with their compact offerings and they're not as far apart in quality as they used to be.
  15. The air pollution in China is among the world in the world. However, like most people that live in Shanghai or Beijing, they just ignore it. The fact is convertibles aren't all that common there yet and Chinese buyers will more than likely snatch up something that isn't all that common. It's all about having the nicest and newest things if you're part of the burgeoning middle class.
  16. Thanks for posting this. Very entertaining. Rob Trubiani's steering inputs were so smooth during that ring run. By watching the cockpit video, you'd be surprised he was driving truck.
  17. Porsche decided to make SUVs and it proved to be a very lucrative decision. Rolls Royce should do it too. Provides an alternative from the Porsche Cayenne or Ranger Rover for the 1%.
  18. I prefer the concept from the 2010 Paris auto show. It's not as aggressive as the Frankfurt one. Now would be a good time to start production of this car. They're only selling half the amount of cars that BMW and Mercedes are in the US.
  19. The Chinese market would gobble that car up. They expect to sell 3 million cars this year in the peoples republic. A car like this would be a huge boost to the brand and further solidify China as Buick's largest market.
  20. Yet another enthusiast car that we will never get in North America. Instead they'll give us a slightly faster CR-Z. Thanks again Honda. Maybe they should go with a global platform that like Ford's B3? That way everyone gets the same car.
  21. It's a car that does everything well and offers the performance of cars almost twice the price. What's not to like? Spend a little bit on tuning and it'll fly. In terms of refinement there still not there but it's getting there.
  22. The dashboard reminds me of the centre consoles that are on new volvos today. Sort of has a similar layout like the c30.
  23. I'm not so sure about this decision. Wouldn't this put Chrysler behind all their competitors that already offer hybrid or electric cars? Namely Chevrolet (Volt, Malibu hybrid) Toyota (prius, camry hybrid) Nissan (leaf, altima hybrid), Hyundai etc? It already takes a few years or so develop this tech so why would they wait 10? I don't think it's true that customers aren't willing to pay for it either. The volt and leafs sales are increasing each month and they just hit a sales record for the month of August.
  24. Such a shame the previous owners didn't keep it. Probably wasn't luxurious enough for them. I'm partial to Subarus because I've owned two legacys but the Outback drives better and is more capable in the winter. I test drove a 2011 legacy and was impressed. It still felt like a Subaru. Good grip and solid build quality. My only issue with it was the throttle. It was too light and wasn't as responsive as older models. Not sure if they addressed that in the later models. Another gripe I have is how big the Outback and Legacy have become. They're definitely not mid sized anymore. But Subaru is selling a lot more of them now so who am I to complain.
