Vehicle: Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (2008)
I love Corvettes. If I was ever fortunate enough to buy my dream car it would be either a Z06 on Michelin Sport Cup tires or a Nissan GTR. Do you track your vette and have you done any mods on it?

Vehicle: Infiniti G37x Coupe (2013)
She's a beaut. And that VQ 3.5 litre V6 is pretty much bulletproof so no worries about the engine. I have a friend with a 07 G35. He has the 6 spd and hasn't had any problems with it.

Vehicle: Buell 1125CR (2009)
Toonie's worth? Are you a fellow Canadian? Everyone I've talked to says a 250 is a good bike to start on. Although some like you, have mentioned that 500cc bike cruiser type bike would work too. However, aren't bigger displacement bikes naturally heavier? For example, a Suzuki GS500 would be heavier than a Ninja 250 right? I would prefer a lighter bike because I don't weigh much (150 lbs) and think a lighter bike would be easier to handle.

Vehicle: Buell 1125CR (2009)
That is a sick ride. Did you test other litre bikes before you bought this one? Like a Yamaha R1 or Kawasaki ZX-10? What sold you in the Buell? I'd like to get into riding in a few years time but I'll start with something less dangerous like a ninja 250 or cbr 250.

Subaru News: Rumorpile: 2015 Subaru WRX To Debut At L.A. Auto Show
It looks awesome. However, I'm a bit disappointed that they're leaving their rally roots behind. It's understandable considering Subaru has been out of the WRC for years now. The next gen WRX and STI should be dramatically better cars than their predecessors because they're being built on separate platforms from the Impreza.

Tesla Announces A New "Revolutionary" Leasing Program
That's fine and dandy for the wealthy people that can already afford this car. But it's out of reach to the lower and middle class. And wouldn't your monthly payment be higher the more electricity you use? Hopefully Tesla is working on a model that competes with a Honda Accord or Chevrolet Malibu as those are the cars that the general population can afford.

Toyota News: A Bright Future For Performance At Toyota?
I'll believe it when I actually see it in showrooms. Their cars have no soul anymore. They're still well made and reliable, but driving a Toyota is like operating a appliance like a fridge or oven. It's not fun. The GT86 and Scion FR-S is a good start at resurrecting their once sporty image but it's going to take time and 2 or 3 additional models to put them back on the map. Now if only Honda would follow suit.

Nissan GTR: A True Supercar?
I was watching a best motoring episode and the Drift King (Keichi Tsuchiya) mentioned that the Nissan GTR is not a true Supercar due to the fact that it's too heavy. He does have a point. The GTR weights 3800 lbs and is heavier than all the other cars in its category. Also, it has back seats which some people would classify as more of a high performance sports coupe. I highly respect the GTR's capabilities but feel there's a certain untangible that is missing. Maybe it's driving feel, or how you can't feel the passion when driving it hard like you do with a Ferrari 458. What do you guys/girls think?

pffft- like everyone didn't already know
Well that was easy. I came into the BMW section looking for a topic like this. I definitely agree with this article based on my own personal experiences. I've been cut off more times than I could count by bimmer drivers and been honked at many times as well when I was a pedestrian. Also, a majority of the cars I see parked in handicapped spots are normally BMWs too. The funny thing is I have a problem with 3 series drivers. The people in 5 or 7 series are normal.

Chevrolet News:Rumorpile: Corvette Z06 To Become Z07
Fine with me. As long it has a V8, RWD and a manual gearbox is available then it'll keep the owners happy.

That superior Honda Engineering.
In my opinion, if the car is longer under powertrain warranty then I wouldn't take it to the dealer. They're prices are higher and I've had nothing but negative experiences with them. I would take the car to a independent shop instead. The problem is finding a honest, reputable one though.

414HP Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R, Sexy or Not?
It's impressive for sure and I'm glad Toyota is showing us something an enthusiast can appreciate. It's just a shame they wouldn't actually put something like this into production. I'm not a big fan of electric cars. But I was pretty much convinced they are the future after watching "Revenge of the Electric Car". Once the issues of infrastructure (more accessible charging stations) and cost are addressed they will take off.

Canadian checking in
Hey all. My name is Dean and I just signed up today. So a little bit about me. I love cars. I'm the type of gearhead that's more into the sunday drive, track day, autocross side of things and I'm not too mechanically inclined. But I hope to change that in the near future. I drive a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT which I've had for about two years. She is my baby, my first turbocharged car and manual car as well. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you. Peace.

Subaru News: Subaru Stands At A Crossroad
What worries me about this is that Subaru will lose that certain uniqueness if they decide to expand into a bigger automaker like a Toyota or a Honda. The reason I drive a 2005 Legacy GT because it's AWD, fast and fun to drive and doesn't seem as plain jane vanilla as a Camry or Accord. I think it's already started as they discontinued the GT models in the newer, more bloated Legacys.
