Yeah I just read this a little earlier.. I have to admit, it was a good idea. But to even remotely think you could go on without getting caught is absolutely insane. Whether it be somebody spill the beans or an audit, or any of the MANY other ways to get busted. ..but the idea is still a good one.. It just seems more like an aftermarket thing NOT AN OEM ONE. Also, makes sense why they've had so many diesels over here for so long. They were keeping costs down. lol

I also applaud you for trying to settle "off the field". I agree with you, man..sketchy sounding. Sounds like some are going through the efforts it isn't worth to get under some peoples' skin and thats ridiculous, in my opinion.

Better solution: ban the troublemaker. Lord knows it's been done before. Why is that better? Drew has said it multiple times, there is a feature BUILT IN to this forum that will make it so you won't see any of his stuff. It is an ignore feature. There is no reason somebody should be banned because 2-3 people, out of everybody registered, here have a problem with them. That is not fair at all. You get under my skin at times, Surreal does, Casa has, Wings does as well, even Olds says things sometimes that I don't agree with.. does that mean you all should be banned because we don't see eye to eye? Aboslutely not. There has to be give and take on BOTH ends. Wings end and your end. Heck, my end as well. I'm not perfect.

Then just ignore him if he isn't worth the trouble. And it is uncalled for, for anybody to assume somebody is voting yay or nay on anything without proof. We all ask for proof when discussing cars/trucks/SUVs to get facts straight. The same standard should be held for this. But, this is all just my opinions so..there's that.

The new Civic has a turbo 1.5L that puts out 174hp(no tq rating though). I would assume it would be no less than 174ftlbs with it being a turbo.

I don't blame you. I've tried to mentally assess the net good and bad of Facebook and other social media, and it's hard to get beyond a stalemate. On a personal level, it's great to keep in touch with family and friends, it's hard to put a value on that. On a psychological level, it breeds unhealthy narcissism (that's an understatement) and the ruthless bullying that comes out from behind the computer screen is seriously disturbing. I tend to come to the conclusion we'd be better off as a society without it. Absolutely. Great assessment. I'm more towards the middle ground of its use. I get on once a day usually, sometimes every other day. For exactly what you said, keep in touch with friends and family. But all my closest friends I call or text anyway and see regularly. It is more for the people that have moved away and family that isn't local(none of my family lives within 6-18hours of us). But HOW it is used by the LARGE MAJORITY is just junk and advertisements and bullying and all sorts of just trash that would negates the benefit of keeping in touch with people you don't get the opportunity to see(which says a lot when you can't see loved ones).

Nope not offended, already hate facebook. lol A large chunk of facebookers have extremely seneitive feelings though.. We're in an era where somebody offended has o have things changed so they never will be again.. stupid world. Just a bunch of pansies.

But as a consumer you will be drawing a line somewhere, correct? Lets say I can absolutely safely afford a 35k car. 2 cars are on that list and 1 isn't. I can get some extra options on those other two as well. A smart consumer will find out what they can comfortably afford and draw a firm line there no matter what.
