The Tucker 48: The Greatest Car That Ever Could Have Been
These Torpedo's were so ahead of their time it was ridiculous. I still have my scale model!

So after replacing the electrical trifecta (battery, starter, and alternator, the former two being under warranty) the Ranger still would not crank. Screw it. I push started it and it was running. Immediately I noticed that it wasn't charging at all. Hooked up a multimeter to the battery posts, 12.4V and dropped while revving. Measured the voltage at the alternator post, 14.3V. Official diagnosis: The sound system killed the battery. While I was still hitting it with a dying battery the load on the starter and alternator became so great that it shorted both the components and the cables leading to them all at once. So only thing left to do is replace the starter and alternator cables. Thanks 2000+ Watt sound system!!!

I was told a long time ago that the key to success was to never be content. Never be content with the house you live in, the car you drive, the job you have, and the money you make. That will drive you to try and achieve more. So far, it's working.

Suggestions on Sway Bar and Links
Doesn't going from hollow to solid make a difference even if diameter doesn't increase? That's the impression I was getting from reviews. Can't seem to find anyone with an epsilon sedan that switched to a Dorman sway bar for a direct comparison, though. Depends in the thickness of the rod. Most of the times the difference is negligible. You really can't find any upgraded sway bars whatsoever? None. Hell the Dorman is the only readily available replacement AT ALL. I eventually dug up the GM part on a warehouse website, but it's not easy to find by any means, and it was only listed under the Malibu, not the Pontiac or Saturn cousins. Pontiac did make the G6 Coupe with a 3.8L and a 6-spd, did you look for parts fro that model? That would probably be the only thing I could think of.

A Toyota Tundra was tailgating me HARD on my way home from work tonight. I tried it all, slowing down, putting a little pressure on the brakes, squirting the wiper fluid, nothing worked. So we're about to come up to a curve then a light. Let's see how well he knows what he's doing. I drop it in fourth and pull away, but he's hard on it behind me. At the top of the hill before the curve I brake and drop it to third, taking the bend at 75 MPH. I see the screwball hit ABS braking for the turn on my rear view mirror. He didn't follow me too close after that. If he was in SUCH a big hurry, why didn't he pass me the two times he legally could have?

Mustang vs. Miata: Thed's Internal Debate
I'm not having high hopes for the Fiata. Unless Mazda only lets them add a badge to it, FCA ir probably just going to make it heavy with the 1.4T, and in the wrong spot, too. Besides, the 1.4T has been having turbo problems. The looks of the new Camaro just don't do it for me. It's a step backwards from a car that already didn't look as good as the new Mustang from a design standpoint IMO. Except for the interior, the new Camaro's interior is a HUGE improvement over the 5th-gen. If I was worried by the image people have of me based on what I drove influenced my car buying decisions, I wouldn't be considering either. ANd I wouldn't own a Volvo.

Grey Poupon, the mustard. Would have made for a great hashtag wars joke (though I'm not sure what the subject would have been) "50 Shades of Grey Poupon". Charger. Hashtag Wars? AS in @Midnight? That is my favorite show bar-none. Well, except for The Walking Dead.

Mustang vs. Miata: Thed's Internal Debate
Uhhhmmm, no. I don't really care about the number of friends I can fit (see Ranger) but the size of the friends themselves. Most will fit, there will be a few, however, that will be limited to short trips. Seriously, it's all going to be decided by the test drive. I wish I could have both, but it's not happening in this price range.

Mustang vs. Miata: Thed's Internal Debate
I know better than to spin out while driving straight. Unless you're taking about people wanting to race a Mustang all the time. Or unless you think I'll turn into Badstang. It seemed like an appropriate spot to reminisce about the hilarity of that epic failure from MTs forums. I actually remember a time where he wasn't that unbearable. That was a WHILE back though.

Le Mans 24Hr 2015
*SIGH* Yeah...well...FWD is what I prefer in Quebec...okay? RWD is what I REALLY want.... Not my fault you live in Canada! It's 68 degrees outside, perfect weather for, say, a RWD sports car.

Mustang vs. Miata: Thed's Internal Debate
I want fun a fun DD. Yes these are completely different ways of achieving fun, but that's the only way you can compare them. In the end I think it's just going to boil down how much fun I have at low speeds, which is where the Miata is going to shine, and where the Mustang is going to likely be boring by comparison. Shame on you suggesting I get a Mustang with anything less than a V8. 10-4 on the Club part.
