  1. Damn, if they don't over price this thing, this could be my next car.
  2. Make it look like that and put an attractive lease offer on it, and I'd make one of these my daily commuter and go ahead and pick up a used 911.
  3. I've been wanting to get into it for some time now.
  4. No thanks. V8 or bust in this segment. Especially in the Chally.
  5. Shelby 427 Cobra Lamborghini Miura SV 356 Speedster Ferrari 250 SWB Lamborghini Islero
  6. Alright, NO excuse for lack of participation in this one. All of you classic and muscle car lovers, this one's for you. There is one caveat, however. I want to see true collector/investment grade cars here. Not run-of-the-mill stuff that you just happen to like. I'm talking cars with massive values- definitely way into 6-figure territory, preferably 7-figure- very rare numbers, etc. So, an example of something that doesn't count- a '69 Camaro SS. Something that does- '68 Charger Daytona. Rules- 1) These are collector cars- they do not have to be used regularly, tracked, etc. 2) Maximum of 5 choices. 3) Production cars only. 4) Any market is allowed. 5) Must be no newer than a 1974 MY. 6) Again, only truly rare/valuable/irreplaceable/etc cars. Have fun.
  7. And the power wars with useless figures continues. When is this going to stop? Loads aren't getting heavier.
  8. That looks quite great. Curious to see the powertrain options.

Awesome, dude!! Idk how I didn't know about this.
  10. Very nice lists, both of you. Golf R barely missed mine. I could have subbed it for the SS, and put the GT350 in the Cayman's place. Hmmm......
  11. With the right optioning, and even just light discounts, I can easily piece together this ensemble- Grand Cherokee Trailhawk (~43K)- Chevy SS Sedan (~48K)- Porsche 718 Cayman (~64K)- Ducati X Diavel S (~20K)-
  12. Not a single taker?? Come on, guys......
  13. GMC so should have made that. It'd sell like crazy.
  14. Christopher Lloyd stars in that movie as well. Everyone knows him from 'Back to the Future'. Pretty hard to beat- Dr. Brown: If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious $h!.
  15. So the average new car price currently sits at $33,781. Which is a decent amount. There's some pretty solid deals out there for that kinda money. I'm going to round that number up slightly to $35,000, and use it as the base line for this Dream Garage thread. Rules- 1) You have a total of $175,000. 2) You must have at least 2, but no more than 5 automobiles. 3) You can spend as much or as little on any one vehicle as you want. 4) These are your only vehicles. 5) Choices must be brand new and on sale now. 6) You CAN use actual sale prices, rather than MSRP, SO LONG AS THEY ARE REALISTIC. Ie- w/ Mfr's Rebates, slightly discounted online prices, etc. Use good judgement here, and be a good sport. You're not getting the 9K off a new Fusion like the Ford ad says. Also, no demos, loaners, etc. Brand new vehicles. 7) I will allow ONE street bike/trike/3 wheel contraption. Have fun guys.
  16. I still have my '05. Drove it to work this morning. 136K miles.
  17. They're like the 2nd Gen xB that Scion didn't build.
  18. Nor mine, but these things are very affordable, have a ton of room, drive pretty well, are economical, and can be had with luxury car-level equipment. They really have a lot of value.
  19. Nice. These are really quite good little cars that are overlooked by a lot of people.
  20. My thoughts on this year's comp- First off, it's very disappointing to see how many glaring omissions there are. I understand Ferrari and Lamborghini's decline, but where's the Grand Sport? GT3? Cayman 718? 911 R? M2? Focus RS? NISMO 370? 675 LT? Just like C&D's LL, very impressive showing by the Americans. The M4 GTS, in particular, is a joke. Yep, I said it. Jag is still too unruly, and overweight. NSX is rolling simulator. Nissan still can't get the GT-R right. So many cars that can barely match or, in some cases, can't, others that are a fraction of the cost. One thing is for sure, there has never been a better time to be an enthusiast. When 45K Camaros put up lap times on par with 6 figure Europeans, you know this is truly the Golden Age of autodom.
  21. 12- Aston Martin V12 S Vantage 11- BMW M4 GTS 10- Nissan GT-R 9- Jaguar F Type SVR 8- Acura NSX 7- Audi R8 V10 6- Mercedes AMG GT S 5- Dodge Viper ACR 4- Camaro SS 1LE 3- Porsche 911 C2S 2- Shelby GT350 R 1- McLaren 570S
  22. Well, the results were posted up yesterday- LINK I have to say, I was pretty surprised by the finishing order. I had some cars in wildly different spots from where they ended up. Discuss.
  23. Front end looks like a Honda HRV. Back end and interior looks like a Malibu. Overall looks pretty decent. And it's long overdue. The current Equinox is wwwwwaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy past it's sell-by-date.
