I do like the new Vans...look a bit edgier, if I can say that about a minivan..... There are some choices out there...but nothing really stands out. Saw a new Bronco, felt a bit meh about it. But I think I need to really look one over at the dealership to decide.... Chances are if I’m not screwed over by the bad OC on the Equinox, we probably will keep that. If for no other reason as an extra car, mine, or my son’s ride... Kinda a bit that way myself. Think I need warmth, and a chance to work on my cars- and way less social media and politics.....

Sounds like a fun drive....that front frill though... ?

This is where I agree...people have to want to be part of that future, not forced or demanded to do that. You only have to look at current politics to see where that will go... I’m a person who is ready for the future, but still embraces the past. ICE will never completely go away...unless it is forced. While I feel EV will slowly work its way into the mainstream- EV and ICE still need to work in perfect harmony together....

As long as we can still have both, yes. Of course I’ll buy EV, but I’m not giving up ICE either....

Thanks. I think my biggest concern is that the oil got into places it should not be, like sensors. Not to mention simply being able to tell if it has issues. (Like leaking or burning oil) Normally I might just clean it up myself (I started slightly) but it is quite cold out, and I need to check to make sure nothing was effected by oil getting all over. More than likely it should be fine- but since there is a great chance I buy out out at the end of the lease, it is best to be sure.

I realized I shared this on FB, but not here. Took my Equinox for a long drive (it has gone very far for a little while) , and on my way home, could really smell oil coming through the heat vents. When I got home-I opened the hood. No dipstick, and oil all over the engine. Started cleaning a bit of it up- but realized it was going to be a big job out in the cold. Called the dealership where the OC happened. They are going to check it out. I also had to add a little bit of oil as well. I want to make sure they take a good look at it- and clean the engine as well.

My issue with this is going to be a loss of sales. EV will pick up as things go along, but there still going to be a need for ICE vehicles, which includes new ones. Not sure who will produce them after that..... Also hearing we could see a major increase in gas prices late next year as well.....

Yeah, short of odd colors-makes it hard to be somewhat different and stand out from the crowd. I guess at least GM has a nice selection of accessories to choose from. Keeping the Nox means it might get some custom stuff... ?

Thinking about it myself, I think I want to customer order my next car. My Equinox is kinda a rare bird, is that in 19 the Kenetic blue was only thrown a small number of LS trimmed ones (It’s only offered for LT/Premier) Though I did consider ordering mine... My Cavalier was a custom order. I wanted it completely stripped of dealer options so that I could add my own when ready. (Plan was to customize the car) Not sure what the next ride will be, but I would like it to my tastes......

I’m not usually a big fan of snow. But it has been kinda snow free here as well. I think I would be okay with one good old fashioned snow storm. Only catch is the snow can’t hang around too long, as it would help being that polar vortex down. But for a few days, the snow would be calming and kinda refreshing... ?

Sounds like the second storm might be 9-13 inches...will have to ski outside... ?
