Well, GM was always run by the bean counters hard in the 70s to 90s- messed up quite a bit from that....ruined product after product.....

It is crazy....I get at least a 5-10 calls a week of folks trying to get me to sell my house. I’ve thought about selling- but even with the profit I would make it still wouldn’t buy as much....

That is crazy! I know my house is worth about 3x what I paid for it, but I also bought in in a down market back in 2012. Even here in MI houses are getting harder to find under 150k... Yep, already knew that was happening. This is just the start......

Ouch, glad the Van was able to get fixed... My sis-in-law has an 2018 and they love theirs too. Fits the big family in there! Got a chance to drive it a bit down I-75 and the handles the best I have seen in a van... (helps I grew up with them I guess) Still has me thinking about one......

Nice car! Believe it or not- I have heard good things about those tires. Nankangs seem to have always been popular with the tuner crowd- but I have a few car friends with those too! They handle well, but the only downside is the tread life- but for the price it tends to work better....

Man, and my wife thought I was crazy for looking for a car for my 12 year old! Very nice car....love the color too... Thanks to me finally working on my cars again, it has started interesting my kid. He is tech crazy, but loves to take things apart . Perfect hobby for him... Enjoy this!!! ?

Thanks! ? I have been working the two jobs even after I really no longer had to- as I really wanted to build a good sized emergency fund in case something happened. I’ve been unlucky enough to be in an industry as it was on the way down- from the tech bubble to the decline in car sales. Looks like my gut turned out to be right this time..... I least I know my job is trying to keep me while working a plan the company back to work. The second job depends on if we have to close things up again. The good news in this is that my resume was just updated- and it is gandering some nice attention right now. While I am happy where I am at- I have started the search just in case. I am hoping everyone here is doing well, and get to enjoy some family and car time....... ?

It is already looking like it too...many of the local suppliers in Detroit metro have been cutting staff since January. Already had a friend lose a job a few days ago. This whole opening and shutting thing is making it even worse. It has now delayed my return to work. Might even now it could become a permanent job loss. ? Even my second job is in danger now. Hoping I don’t lose both and try to job shop in a soon to be very quiet job market. Local Monster and Linkedin positions have dropped nearly 40 percent in the last week or so......

So sorry about your grandfather. ? I would agree with the above. With all the crazy going on, I think we end up forgetting one of the best stress reliever- the car drive!! ( Not facebook ? ) I have had the chance to get out a little- but I think I need some more long drives- in my Nox- my Cavalier- pretty much anything! I agree with dfelt- much easier to spend time here then paying too much attention to that outside world crazy stuff- when we can relax and talk about car stuff. I’m up for a Skype/Zoom....I think that would be fun....maybe a little crazy- but a good time.... ?
