Yeah, I tend to be that guy (know all) at the dealership.... The dealership where I bought my cars...is very cool with me. My family has bought there for many years. I got my wife's side of the family to start buying there. (two so far) I've had a few isues there, but for the most part, I'm quite happy with the dealership... They are very good listeners, which is why I think they are so popular...

I doubt this is going to light anytime soon... Anybody remember the 95 -99 (and now beyond 00-02) head gasket issues with the Neons? And that affected well over 75 percent of the cars...and there was never a major recall..... Worse come to worse-Gm could offer to replace the intake at little or no cost... The other issue being that it can also be brought on by ABUSE....

Good to hear. I think the Lucerne is a fun drive in either Cx or Cxs form... I've also noticed that this car is also developing in bit of a "gangsta" image... I saw a black one and a dark colored one(I saw that one at night) tinted out with a bit of chrome and 20+ " rims...

I was wondering about the wheels too.. But I've noticed quite a few Cobalt owners change their wheels anyways... Could be more for the custom crowd.... If they lowered the price a few bucks for the lack of AWs on the LT, that would be ok....(or added side airbags or something to that...)

Nope, and it won't. Toyota plans to rework their WHOLE lineup within a few years. That takes GM years. Good luck with that. Simply put, GM has to not only match (get get quite close) on quality, and offer something toyota hasn't done-offer a car with a soul. You only have to look at DCX to realize that it can work..(300c, Charger)

Ah, the Impy is more of a cruiser...windows down kinda car. And you can light the tires every now and again... for a 18 year old platform, it's about as good as it is going to get...

Yes, but even the strippo model has to have a few things.... You want to have a few opitions for those on a budget...

Actually, rumor is that just might happen. Gm still isn't happy with the sales, and the small truck market is one the way out, nothing more than a niche market in the new future...... It would be better (and cheaper) just to do a lower price-point on the silverado... with some good low end packages for it...(sport, 4wd, etc..)
