I don't understand how the STS even got into that test. It's not even in the same league as the first two...

Future of the Union
That's tough to say Josh. Agreement or not-Anything can happen. You only have to look at Northwest to get an idea what a mess this can be.

Again, good insight. Though I wouldn't call them "fat cat", more of a "long outdated"

Future of the Union
Very good point, goblue. Times do change. It does make a hard sell to those who don't have much of an econ background. It is very hard for some to make a change, and to make that choice fast in order for one to survive. Then again, some are just stubborn. Though I the other hand, I can see where Josh is coming from. You do want to have some balance job-wise, to give people some choice. But it doesn't work like that. You either accept the changes, adapt, or you will just get left behind. :(

Job Interview
Just relax..that alone will do wonders... I've seen people freak out in interviews before... Then again, I've also seen people come in drunk...

For those living in Michiagn...
how exactly are you feeling about the current issues going on? For those who don't-feel free to say what you think might happen to this once big union town. Just no fighting is all that I ask. :) I'm going to try not to think too hard about it right now-but I know that Michigan' s ecomony looks to take another major hit. Ford, Delphi.... Makes me worry for family and friends.... :( Also makes me wonder if this should be my last year in Michiagn...... :(

Very good point, Ven. I don't think I could have said it better myself.

Future of the Union
Very true. Getting jobs in the cities can be rough, as the teachers in teach in them. But Michigan as a whole is going to get shafted, not just the big cities. The small towns just won't see it as quick. There are many reasons, (a whole topic in itself). but the stuggle to keep or get money for the districts is going to be nasty...

Future of the Union
Sad, isn't it Sci? And those teachers would have been better off in the long run....
-
Future of the Union
Oh yes, NW will get everything they want out of chapter 11. Too bad the unions were too stupid to see that coming... Now they will NEVER come back.....
-
Future of the Union
Yep. Then again, who would want to strike for that great pay and benefits in Michigan? Teachers have no futures in michigan.... You only have to look at those major cities...

Future of the Union
They need to. Would be smart on their part...

Future of the Union
Very Sad-but true Josh... I can tell you now that this is going to happen soon..and Gm is staying out of this.. and that is not counting the layoffs...which should reduce their staff by 20-30%... There is nothing that the UAW can do.... They might be better off just letting Delphi just fall into chapter 11.. If they agree to terms with Delpli-GM may chase them down for even further cuts... this is going to get very nasty...

DO NOT CLICK ON THIS

Should Honda make a full-size chassis?
No.They should leave the large car to Acura. They don't want to risk taking a large bite out of Accord sales.. They could always make the Accord a little bigger if they had to.. would be hard to say if anyone would pay 40k+ for a Honda...

Can we say small penis...
Ah, ok, got it. I didn't want to have to think about the free trade of penises or something...
