FCA's development budget went to all the coke and quaaludes they consumed to make them think 'hellcat everything' was a viable business model.

no one ordering the model 3 is confused... buyers are just making the sensible connections that a) a decked out 3 is probably more satisfactory than a 'base' S, b) it's new and cool, and c) tesla's going to put everything they've learned from the S and X into the 3...

funny, i walk every chally-wacker with my p100d, with range to spare. the only thing that burns is their red faces. but hey let's all support the frivolities of an automaker that rabbit-eared its pockets, bilked taxpayers and all they have to show for it are fiat panda-based jeeps and 12-year old platform muscle cars that none of its fans can afford!!!
