GM RWD on hold?!
excuses, excuses, excuses...I wonder what's the real reason for stopping the project? A lack of interest? a 3.6L DI would provide ample power, and excellent fuel economy what's the new STS 298hp, that's plenty even 265hp is good

Lexus prices LS600h
well none of the others can manage a SULEV emission score. the LS600h offers acceleration on par if not faster then its BMW and Audi competitors, all while getting fuel economy on par w/the GS350 awd. btw, the LS460 is both 2007 world car of the year, and SAE's best engineered vehicle.

Lexus prices LS600h
now, do you really think 55+yr olds are making any attempts at being cool? and Lexus might just add another car that is over $100k. FYI: Toyota stopped using timing belts in their latest motors. I expect all future Lexus vehicles to carry either an h or f badge.

Toyota - Biggest Contributor to National Trade Deficit?
it would be useful to actually give a % that and I believe the nation's trade deficit results largely from oil importation

Volt will likely never be as cost effective as today's hybrids.
Toyota president send the next Prius will have lithium batteries. I dunno if he meant lithium-ion or just plain lithium, from current NiMH battery. Toyota is keeping a tight lip on the next Prius, as they want to keep competitors as much in the dark as possible. If I'm not mistakend electric motors offer near 100% efficiency.

Senate Considers Limiting Horsepower
why don't we just pay the real cost of oil at the pump, minus governement subsidizes. then nobody could afford to drive anymore.

Trailer Boats: 2007 Tow Vehicle of the Year
my facts are fine, Texas is the largest market for pickups and full size SUV's. Apparently Toyota has already managed to convince two Texans, they built a billion+ dollar truck plant here that employs thousands Texans.

Feb. 2007 Sales: Toyota Motor Sales
the Avalon has won edmunds, CR, motortrend, C&D, automobile mag comparos. nice attempt at dismissing it. remote unlocking, useless with "push-button ignition" hands-free calling, ever heard of bluetooth. turn-by-turn, ever heard of navi theft tracking, that's a real deal breaker. emergency response, real useful if you're paranoid and don't know how to use a cell subscription is free now?

Trailer Boats: 2007 Tow Vehicle of the Year
I didn't realize people bought pickups in Massachusetts. Where I live 1/2 tons easily dominate the roads. I drive once a week, if even that often. Out here I see HD trucks more often than Accords, Civics, Camries, or Corollas combined, probably why Toyota builds the Tundra where pickups should be built...in Texas.

Trailer Boats: 2007 Tow Vehicle of the Year
I've already seen two Tundra's out on the road in west Texas, so much for it's not going to sell.
