Scale towns, radio, Pontiac v. Camaro & cruising
Stew, Cool ... that scale is the easiest to display. olds, 1) Agreed, it is a sweet hobby. Wish I had the room for that large of an HO-scale train layout! Those WW2 scenes would be interesting. 2) Aftermarket. It is a 1958 Motorola in a 1957 Ford truck. 3) I much prefer the full-sizers, too! 4) LOL ... interesting plans for each of 'em! Corvette longevity, engine detail & 1952 Ford, etc.
* The Corvette is universally-known & regularly seen on the streets. It has enough longevity to be the 4th longest continually-used nameplate: http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/21/sports-sunday-22/ For you modelers, a peak at engine detail for a 1966 Oldsmobile 442: http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/20/scale-saturday-22/ Picturesque image of a 1952 Ford flatbed in TN: http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/20/saturday-smorgasbord-23/ Cort www.oldcarsstronghearts.com 1979 & 1989 Caprice Classics | pigValve, paceMaker, cowValve "For a moment you can hardly breathe" __ John Mayer __ 'Dreaming With A Broken Heart'

Scale towns, radio, Pontiac v. Camaro & cruising
* Among my many hobbies is my HO scale model train layout, with many iconic places across the US. But, I enjoy the work of an OC,SHer. His scale layout is Metro City; this is a scene from 2 Trees Mall: http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/17/wednesday-ratio-22/ An old Motorola radio still in use in an old Ford: http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/17/wednesday-wrap-22/ Which would you rather have &/or drive: Pontiac or Camaro? Between the website & the Facebook page, seems the overwhelming majority is for the Pontiac! http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/18/thursday-survey-22/ Cannot remember the last time I was able to just go cruising, so 3 cruising options: Ford, Hudson & Cadillac. http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/19/automotive-daily-152/ Cort www.oldcarsstronghearts.com 1979 & 1989 Caprice Classics | pigValve, paceMaker, cowValve "There's got to be another way" __ The Who __ 'Who Are You?'

Yep, I'd agree with that. The last 24-48 hours really have been jarring ... in way too many ways. I'm about done, with everything. *shrugs* Cort www.oldcarsstronghearts.com 1979 & 1989 Caprice Classics | pigValve, paceMaker, cowValve "What can you do?" __ Mickey Gilley __ 'Full Grown Fool'

Nobody Built ‘80s Concept Cars Better Than Pontiac
That is a good article ... wish I could've seen even just 1 of those in person. I remember the Banshee was SORT OF on the Knight Rider 2000 movie. 1965 Dodge Pontiac & spying in a TV scene
* No joke, this is a 1965 Dodge Dart with a Pontiac nose! Would you drive it? http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/16/twist-tuesday-22/ Every so often, I feature a different spying-eye radar type image. Ford truck or Buick coupe? + strength
It has been rather interesting watching the votes-comments on this. On the Facebook page, the Buick clearly had the upper hand. But on the boards (so far, anyway), the truck has had the edge. So, it may be more of a tie than I thought it'd be.....sweet. olds ... I cringe b/c I don't have the answers for you. I THOUGHT I (or my cousin) had taken another pic of that entire truck (with that information written on the passenger's side of the windshield), but I'm not finding it. So, I'm thinking neither of us did, thinking the other of us HAD. *rolls eyes* I apologize. BUT, if I do come across an image of it, I'll answer your queries. Had or still have a Tonka Winnebago?
Hmmm ... yeah, that might have something to do with it. I hated dirt & mud (still do), tho I don't mind sand. Never used the dump truck in the sandbox, tho ... heck, I don't even really remember ever taking it outside, but ... I'm sure I did. Anyway, it was reminiscing about childhood toys that led me to create the "Monday Night Fun" theme ... to celebrate those toys of childhood. Ford truck or Buick coupe? + strength
* Which would you rather own &/or drive: Ford truck or Buick coupe? Seems the Buick has the edge! http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/11/thursday-survey-21/ With 4 open heart surgeries (November 1977, March 1987, 01/06/2003 & 11/11/2011) under my belt, this (about being strong) is certainly true for me, in many other ways as well. http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/10/daily-dose-wake-up-wed-21/ Cort www.oldcarsstronghearts.com 1979 & 1989 Caprice Classics | pigValve, paceMaker, cowValve "I hope I'm a little bit stronger" __ KT Oslin __ 'Come Next Monday'

Had or still have a Tonka Winnebago?
Interesting. My childhood was similar, mostly HW & MB ... but, I did have some Tonka trucks ... including an orange dump truck which my Nephew plays with now. Same here ... friends had 1 that I oh-so-wished I had. The toy shows & model shows I've been to in the last few years haven't had 1, but I would like to obtain 1 at some point.
