2008 Sierra "All Terrain" Package
Great info GMTG! I went to the dealer tonight to find my next truck, they had a black SLT "all terrain". I love the fact that the Lux dash doesnt have wood inserts. Do you know if it's possible to order a regular SLT without the wood dash or with the pure truck dash? Im not too crazy about the lux dash and the lower location of the radio. . . I plan on transfering my nav system to the new truck and think it will be a pain in the ass to look down all the time.

Still think there is no such thing as Global Warming?
As an energy consultant, I must say we have only scratched the surface of conservation. All the points above are excellent! Here are a few other tips for homeowners to reduce operating cost: Consider Tankless Hot Water Heating- Europe has had these systems for about 10 to 15 years now, Bosch makes an extremely reliable unit. Consider a home energy evaluation- A professional opinion can help by informing area's throughout the house that have major heat loss, such as a poorly insulated attic, I always suggest min. 10" of insulation in colder climates. I will post more information when I have some free time.

SPY SHOTS! 2009 Chevrolet Corvette SS
Unfortunately he did not, but he had large smile when I mentioned the SS as the 4th model. He said he's heard a lot of rumors from the internet but could not confirm anything. . . boooo! BTW, I was still in shock that I was talking to the man himself... probably the greatest moment of my life! I hope I see him next year.

SPY SHOTS! 2009 Chevrolet Corvette SS
This is a great thread! I was at Belle Isle on Sunday to watch the IRL race and just happened to be at the right place at the right time to meet Dave Hill( I nearly fainted) , although he is retired is still extremly active in the C6 program. I asked him a few questions about the SS/Blue Devil and he assured me that it would be debuting at NAIAS in January. I asked him to give me some HP numbers but he just laughed as said the competition will be shaking in their boots. I tried to ask Tadge Juechter a few questions but he was really tight lipped about it. . . which is completely understandable. The best part about our conversations was the he knows all to well about Cheers And Gears and actually believes that sites like ours made the launch of the C5 that much more successful. So keep it up!

Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places
This is about the 15th time this week that Ive heard about a love over the net linked to West Africa! After watching Dateline about these people that send money to "lovers" without even meeting them, It's sad to see that people could be soooo stupid to do that. They deserve all that happens to them. . . what a way to live and learn!
