It looks like GM has finally found a solution to powertrain diversity, I saw this transmission at NAIAS and was surprized to see how small it was. Main reason is the is no drive shaft assembly, now this transmission can easily be mated to a FWD or AWD without any problems. I have pics and will post them soon.

That has been one of the most talked about topics this year, normally a winter storm would dump a foot of snow right after media day.

For anyone looking last minute, I suggest booking a hotel in Windsor (alot cheaper the anything in Detroit) and take the shuttle from windsor to the autoshow. $20 CND gets a round trip to and from the show and tickets.

Before I begin, I just to let everyone know this is not another tree huggers rant. Scientists say 2007 may be warmest yet Im not sure how much this really effects those in the southern states but this weather is crazy. It's nice to have warm weather but something just does not sound right when there is no snow at all, alteast here in the Windsor/Detroit area, and tempertures resembling a spring day.

Seen one last week for the first time on I75. . Looks great in person while driving. It was a dark blue and look really classy.

I just picked up an Ipod Video today and love it! greatest feature I like is being able to transfer pics fr my digital SLR to the Ipod, now I can take unlimited amounts of pics. . . so much for buying 5 gigs of CF cards Ive got 2000 pics on the Ipod and it hasnt even made a dent in the HD.

I was in Italy a month ago and noticed a huge differance in how traffic flows much better without all the signs. I wish we could do the same here, instead we put up signs and traffic lights for now reason.

AEV has been converting standard jeep into some serious offroad vehicle for a few years now. . im sure the have a new Wrangler in the shop right now.

Sometimes you gotta jus put the tools down and call it a day. . . the project looks like a group of 20 people worked on it, just waayyyy to much going on with that car. . . kinda killed it IMO.

Body lift is much easier, if you only plan on going up 2/3, it can be installed quickly too. Im planning a body lift for next spring with 33's, it keeps the factory setup just in case I do plan ever selling or trade in for an '08. Update us on what you do go with. . . and show some pics befor/after.

Good to see the 4T45-E is planned to stick around untill 2009.

DesRosiers has been anti-big 3 for quite some time now, It's good to see that Dave Hall can show obvious. . . since Ford announced that they would be leaving Windsor in 2008, he's been bitter about how Toyota is hiring just north of us in the Waterloo area, the anti-union region of Canada simular to how the SouthEastern U.S's auto plants.
