I played trombone in middle school. Oh the fun I had, spending hours at a time locked in my room, playing with my 'bone.

I think velour needs to be left in the past (or future?) but as long as red shirts denote who's going to die, I'm cool with it. TNG was the only one that I really ever got into, and that was when I was just a wee lad, but I can't believe that they had the captain wear red for that series.

I used to think I liked all sorts of music, but then I got a job that involved extensive amounts of time in cars with hipsters. That's when I realized that I'm a metalhead. I also love classical, and pretty much anything that's mellow and/or melancholy. And here's a fun bit of trivia for all you metalheads: The man who pioneered the use of distortion and power chords is actually from my hometown.

The Patriots may have been undefeated before this game, but the Giants were, by far, the best team in the playoffs, so I wasn't that surprised when the Giants won. I know it wasn't very high-scoring, but I thought the game was incredibly exciting. The Giants defense played one of the best games I've ever seen. Manning may have the MVP trophy, but the real MVPs were the Giants D-Line, IMO.
